Gameday Open Thread: Rockets vs. Blazers

Tonight, the Houston Rockets visit the Rose City to play the Portland Trail Blazers (7:10 tip-off). You know Portland would love to win this game, after losing Monday, and losing a winnable game in Houston a few weeks ago. Can the Blazers shake off the previous game, and win tonight?

Injury Report: Both Marcus Camby (bronchitis) and Raymond Felton (sprained foot) will start, according to the team. The Rockets are healthy. Based on my experiences with bronchitis, I wouldn't be surprised if Camby plays small minutes.

Read: Dave's Preview | Blazers Media Notes | Facebook | Ben's onsite updates on Twitter
Watch: Comcast Sportsnet (Portland) | Blazers live streaming | NBA TV (National, no League Pass tonight!)
Listen: 750 AM The Game (Portland) | NBA Audio League Pass (Free)

The usual rules apply:

1. No swearing | 2. No pictures | 3. Be Nice!
4. Don't discuss unofficial game streaming, even when the game is on NBA TV.

And, of course, have fun. Go Blazers! -- Tim

go blazers!!!1!!!!!1!!!1one

so…can someone tell me:

i just tried to buy the cheapo, back-to-the-concrete tickets for the game against the spurs on the 21st, and it said the tan section was $15 per seat, but then when i tried to buy 2 tix it came out to $101.00.

am i doing it wrong? seating suggestions for cheap?

I don't always root for an NBA franchise, but when I do, I prefer the Portland Trail Blazers.

Go with the "steal of the game"

they give a number every game(I think), for 4 tickets for 50 dollars for upper bowl seats.

might be sold out and put a different section in your cart?

i know i’ve tried to buy two tan or red section tickets before then gone to my cart and its like $260 because there weren’t 2 seats together in the section i was requesting so it put white section tickets in my cart instead lol

bronchitis is no bueno

let’s hope Camby coughs on Scola though
or would he get suspended?

by blazerblaze on Feb 8, 2012 6:17 PM PST reply actions

scola would flop the floppiest flop ever and Camby would get a flagrant 2 for it and get ejected, then miss the next game.

Not good, maybe he can wipe his nose with the back of his hand before he gives him a high five.

I'm not too convinced he'll continue this when scouting catches up with him

Bayless was “holy cow!” dominant, then went boom when teams scouted his big games.

We’ll see over the next few weeks/months.

by Timmay! on Feb 8, 2012 6:53 PM PST up reply actions

I see your point and was watching for this actually.

The thing is, he’s been making tons of media waves, especially coming out of NY. The Wizards were well aware of the recent hype, but Lin was actually playing smart. Was patient and didn’t try to force anything stupid. IDK, this guy looks promising.

by Stryder9 on Feb 8, 2012 6:56 PM PST up reply actions

Why cant the Blazers just be healthy?

We get Felton back and now Camby has bronchitis so who knows how many minutes he will play. Dalembert will murder Kurt Thomas down low.

by CincyBlazerFan7180 on Feb 8, 2012 6:42 PM PST reply actions

All the officials know what happened.

Hell, some of them probably talk about Foster behind his back.

“How could he have made that call? I couldn’t even make the same in slow-mo instant replay.”

My bet is the Blazers get a few cheap calls in their favor tonight.
