not just from coaches but players as well. And it’s about damn time! And anybody with a BBIQ higher than BRoy’s jersey # knows he deserves a spot on that team!

Word. Dirk is right. Neither he nor Duncan should be allstars this year.

I know the west has a lot of good forwards, but it’ll be shameful if he doesn’t make it this year.

BTW, the omission of the “ed” on stiffed makes that sentence potentially…um…ambiguous.

LaMarcus Aldridge will get in, so no worries.

If Dirk Nowitzki costs anyone a spot at the All-Star Game, it’ll be Paul Millsap. In any event, though, I’d be okay with Nowitzki getting rewarded as an All-Star this season due to his past contributions.

there's also a pretty good chance that he overcomes his struggles later in the season

and his team make another big run in the western conference.

It pains me to say it, but I don't think Dirk and the Mavs have it in them for a back-to-back run.

Things could change if Dallas makes a deadline trade, although it’d have to be a doozy of a deal.

the fact that most of their struggles are on the offensive end is encouraging

since so many of their players are offensively talented, I’d say they should be able to figure it out. the team’s played really well for having Kidd, Dirk, and Odom in such big slumps, and they have enough depth to keep themselves fresh for most of the regular season. with a good defense this year even while losing their defensive anchor in Chandler and their defensive coach, I think they’ll be perfectly fine if their players can get out of their slumps.
