Anybody know

why Portland isn’t in the mix?

Take a look at the teams he is contemplating

Joel wants to get on board with a team that is making a run this season.

have a good season Joel

make some money, try for that ring, and likely retire at the end of the season.

I just think he’s shifted focus in life from ball to family, and thats perfectly fine.

When we surprise everybody...

and make the finals this year, he will regret not coming back to these fans and this city.

Miami

I think Miami needs him more than Chicago. Omer Asik is probably equal if not better than Joel in his current state. Joel is an upgrade over Joel Anthony and Eddie Curry.

It's not often that players like Joel can hold teams hostage in negotiations.

I’m hoping he gets a great deal, wins a ring, and gets another good contract as a free agent next summer. Maybe he’ll consider returning to pdx if we make him an offer.

Most important, though, is that his knees have healed properly and he can play with no pain. Running and walking the rest of his life is worth more than anything money can buy.

No Real Basketball Connection....

…but I just can’t picture Joel Przybilla playing for Miami. Miami? Where LeBron James and Chris Bosh and Dwayne Wade were introduced with a light show and smoke machines? In my mind Miami and Joel Przybilla just don’t connect.

I know…that’s no reason. He’s got to go where he thinks his opportunity is best. But I think I could support a Chicago and Przybilla team…it would be very hard for me to root for Przybilla in Miami.

I hope it's Chicago.....

..because I just can’t root for LeBronz…

Good luck Przy

I hope you come back and prove all your doubters wrong

and if (when?) Camby goes down again, they’ll suddenly wish you were back in PDX

When reached 40+ years of following Portland basketball you have, be as passionate of the Trail Blazers you will not!
