Woulda, shoulda, coulda

I know...spilt milk and all...BUT we really should of won these "gimme" games 1/6 Suns, 1/14 Rockets, 1/21 Pistons and the 2/2 Kings. They were all 2nd games of b2b.... BUT still... We would be 18 and 6, firmly in the second spot and ready to claim the top spot with a win over the Thunder Monday night at the RG. These unexplainable losses very well may come back and bite us big time in the playoff seedings. COME ON BLAZERS!!!!

If everyone won the games they should've

Thunder would be 24-0 then. Everyone loses games they should have won.

Not really...

I did not count the games we probably should have lost – like the Spurs, Jazz, Hawks, Magic – even the Clippers and the Warriors (where we NEVER win) – just the games that everyone looks at and puts a check in the win column. The Thunder on the other hand have only lost one "gimme’ game – to the Wizards. Their other losses (including us) have been explainable and not head scratchers like our crazy losses.

It's am absolute shame, those losses...

Specially Sacramento or the Pistons… But we have to let them go.

If the team continues to improve, we’ll get the record we deserve, eventually. We have serious road woes, but the talent is there… The rims are at the same height and the court is the same size in other arenas… And when we play in the RG, we do look like a top three team in the West, at least.

Let’s hope that things get better, and cheer on… Tonight we’ll beat the Thunder again! believe it!

It was great

and they probably cost the Blazers 1.5 Mil plus when they have to match offers this summer.

not only hitting but perception helps too

I guarantee the next team will play the defense differently as they would hear about the 9 3pters from Batum. Should help Aldridge in the post.

Thats fine

They purposely left Batum that much room because of how much they were trying to stop Aldridge. That means someone else will have a chance.

Yah those were tough.

I wouldn’t count the Phoenix game though. Sometimes teams just lay stinkers, and that was a stinker. Every team out there is losing games they should win right now. I’d like to see Nate manage minutes better in the first of back to backs, though. Give those tires legs a chance.

that is the way it works

We “wouldn’t, shouldn’t, couldn’t” have beaten the Nuggets twice and OKC once.

i like it here, there, everywhere.

I'm sure Nate is well aware of his team's missed opportunities

One can only imagine

“Oh…we should have WON those games! Assistant coaches, gather around!

“Guys, we need to change our strategy. We are supposed to WIN. We’ve been doing it all wrong! Therefore I have prepared a new pre-game and time-out-huddle procedure. You will herd the players into a circle and I will say, ‘COME ON BLAZERS!!!!’ until we win. Make a note of this.
