he was in the right place at the right time, and it fell directly to him.
nonetheless, a spectacular display of athleticism.

Also nonetheless, not all our guards crash the boards like that
I really got a lot of hope for this guy, but mostly because our team currently is not very flashy at all.
what?
It didn’t “fall directly to him.” Elliot crashed the boards and timed the jump perfectly. This is not a lucky play. I guess when Batum made 9 3’s last night I should have just been like, “meh, he just threw the ball up and it fell in.”

If you watch EW at the very first part of this video you will see that he saw that Batum was going to shoot
the 3 and he deliberately got himself into position to make that play – VERY HEADS UP PLAY BY EW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Intelligence and Athleticism will serve him well. I expect great things from him in the future.
LET THE LAMONSTER ERA BEGIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for posting this clip.
I’m hopeful that Williams can contribute in several categories, when he eventually gets consistent minutes. He had good all-around numbers during his year in college (18 pts, 4 rebs, 4 asts). He looks like he has nice potential on the boards.
None of our other guards rebound.
