Lamarcus: top 3 most consistent scorer in NBA?
Interesting - admittedly i was too lazy to read the ENTIRE article, but basically the gist is similar to the idea of 'shake', in that it attempts to measure Volatility of scoring. They put Lamarcus as top 3 behind KD and LBJ.
**keep in mind the parameters are 20+Ppg scorers only
im sure the measurement can be faulty (as with most stats), but in any case kinda cool.

Dwight Howard 41.5%
Monta Ellis 40.9%

It usually takes big men longer to develop
and he’s this good only a year removed from stepping out of Roy’s shadow. I mean, he’s got a top-10 PER, plays solid position defense, and is damn consistent. He’s still got to figure out how to work well in the clutch, but he’s getting to that level. He’s not a player that will carry a garbage team to the finals by himself like LeBron, but if you build the right team, he could lead a championship caliber team.

Probably not. But to be fair, most times it's taken a top 3-5 player in the league to win a championship.
MJ, Shaq, Kobe, Hakeem, Duncan, Wade, the list goes on the further you go back. Those players were all arguably in the top 3 at the time. Of course there’s a few exceptions, most noticeably Detroit’s last championship, but it’s really rare. So LA could easily be argued as a top 10 player, but would still need at least 1 other real star to contend.
