Sams: An Analysis Of Former Blazers G Brandon Roy's Clutch Shooting

Jordan Sams of LibertyBallers.com has a very nice statistical analysis of clutch shooting in the NBA since 2000. Former Portland Trail Blazers All-Star guard Brandon Roy finds his way into the more modern portion of the study (2006-2007 to present). Roy had the second highest field goal percentage in the qualified group, behind only Miami Heat All-Star forward LeBron James. In a later portion of the study, looking at shots taken in the final 24 seconds of a game since 2006, Roy was tops in field goal percentage among all qualified players, at 42 percent. -- Ben Golliver | benjamin.golliver@gmail.com | Twitter
