Thank you Joel
So we just got the Vanilla Gorilla back! Awsome. Honestly can not remember being this happy over signing a guy who is really not anywhere near a premier player. But as we all know Joel Brings what we need, toughness, defense, rebounding. Also we have another desperately needed big to throw in the mix. No offense Kurt Thomas, but you are a center in the east and a undersized power forward in the west.
Let me be clear, i know this isnt the fix-all to end all of the issues the team has. Well, unless Joel brings a hammer with him to beat Raymond Felton over the head with, every time Ray does something stupid with the ball that is. As i read stuff about Joel i kept interest cause ya gotta love the guy, as i understood it we really had no shot at him. I must say i was very surprised to see the headline. So i say from myself personally and anyone else who seconds it, Thank you for coming back home. I can't wait to hear the cheer you get your first game back. Once again, thank you sir. you are a class act.

Thomas as a back up PF sounds perfect.
With his jump shot, he’ll be able to space the floor a bit too.
My favorite teams are the Blazers and any team that is playing the Lakers.

Solid addition, but will it just cost us a lottery pick?
This shows me (a) Joel (and/or his family) loves Portland (no other reason to pick here over two title contenders), and either (b) the Blazers front office is just casting about, completely without a long-term plan, or © there is a plan, and this likely means Camby will be traded at the deadline…
Love Joel, glad he’s back, he definitely will provide what we need on the D boards when Camby isn’t vaccuuming… But I wonder if this is also with a look toward a future without Marcus Camby. I would think that he, Felton, and Crash would all have value to a contender… On the other hand, this is the “win now, damn the future” Blazers we’re talking about here… Nate probably has talked somebody’s ear off about Joel and thinks this will get us deeper into the playoffs…
But welcome back Joel! (Oh, and nice trade MJ… Bwahhahaahaa)

The albino rhino.

Love him!

I wish....
…Joel had picked Miami. So he could say, Sorry Portland but I’ve taken my talents to South Beach. Start giving interviews inwhich he refered to LeBron James as “My Good Buddy”. I could see Joel wearing more “Bling”. I also think he should start refering to himself in 3rd person, as in “The Joel went to where he felt The Joel could most easily get a ring”.
HIs kids would of loved Disney World.
No, no no…I’m just kidding. All is right in the universe. Welcome Back Joel Przybilla. Boomerang buddy…you never really left.
