what about trying to get klay thompson from golden state. he is a 6'7 sg and is locked up for 4 years on his rookie contract. he is a deadly shooter who can handle the ball and pass, rebound, and defend because of his size and length. GSW think extremely high of him so he wouldnt be easy to get but what about batum and wes for klay and dwright? wes has not performed very well this year and batum is a free agent at the end of the year and may not be back next year. dorell wright had a great year last year but has been under performing this year. this trade would give us a future sg and

I'd do Wes & Crash...not Batum

Wes/Gerald for Dorrell/Clay? Totally do it, but GSW would not. Too much promise in Thompson.

Wes isn’t playing well and Nic is a FA. No offense, but why in the world would GS wanna trade a rookie SG with size who’s shown the ability to play? Especially considering all they’d get in return is a below average, (at best) undersized two guard and a soon to be FA .

Would love to have Thompson

Would be great if we could parlay a larger deal out of it and try and get a monta ellis and a klay thompson but that would require giving up quite a bit and i dont know if the team is done enough to give up on the season.

Batum is one of two people on this roster that I consider untradable unless it’s for a top tier guard. I’m not going to give him away for two players who have played under the Golden State system which inflates stats and value while most of the players who played there go on to have incredible mediocre careers elsewhere.
