say what you want about this team but until Wallce
can take his training wheels off (the rose garden) This team is not going to win on the road. 40min 8pts 3rbs is what we want from craig smith not our second best player, and up to this point that is what he's offering.I have heard a lot of bashing on this site and its mainly been directed toward out guards, but the truth is that our biggest crutch this season has been the production of our do anything utility man. He has been downright terrible the entire season on the road yet Jamal, Mathews and Felton have taken the brunt of our wrath. Its time for our second highest payed player to take a look in the mirror and figure out whats making him so ugly!

our guards are really terrible
can’t go to battle with 2 of 5 guys not doing their jobs. At least Wallace is efficient and Ding guys up.
I'm ticked
The rose colored glasses fell off against the Jazz Monday and they were stepped on and crushed by the Queens tonight. That’s it, I’m ticked and bad juju is going to happen.
Here are the facts:
1) We are a 500 team.
2) We are not a playoff caliber team.
3) We are old, soft and not very smart.
4) We are not getting to the promised land with these guys.
5) How about a coach that can inspire the players to do their best?
6) Its a near lock that I’m not renewing for next year.
7) I thought we had a chance to be in the 2nd spot at the end of the week, but nope … How about the 10th spot???
8) this is torture and driving me crazy!!!!!
deep breaths

I wonder how much he'll get, since
he’s being thrown around with teams that can offer like $2.5 mil max

It's not just Wallace; the whole team plays like South African mercenarys.
They are a bunch of NBA fakers.
without question Wallace is an X-factor for our team though
and when he can’t do anything on the road, especially when Batum is out, we’re going to have a heck of a time winning games. Even with that we should have one. Fast breaks and free throws were a joke. I thought that Marcus Thornton’s 3 against the shot clock was a real turning point.

Playoffs
This team will sneak into playoffs as a low seed, but the lottery is what they need.
Don't insult Rhino
Guarantee he could do much, much more than 8 pts and 3 rbs in 40 min. Gotta get rid of Wallace for the sakes of sustainability/consistency. The supposed #2 option on the team averages 8 ppg on the road? it’s a joke really
I guess it depends who you replace him with
because if you don’t get a more consistent #2 in return, then your #2 is going to be even worse.
But I completely agree that Aldridge needs a partner, and Gerald is not that guy.

Draft picks. When you really look at Wallace's skill set you ask, well, what is it?
He’s a crowd pleasing energy guy. Right now two fifths of our starting lineup is the Charlotte Bobcats. Why do we think they are any better playing in Portland than they were in Charlotte. Wallace gets the adrenailne going in the crowd, but is her really a winner?
Motivation problem.
Seems like you have to put Rudy Gay, Kobe Bryant, Kevin Durant, or the Charlotte Bobcats in front of him before he charges. It’s soul searching time.
