IMO
LMA should get the back up 5 and KLove should get the back up 4.
Second...
totally meaningless. Vote as many times as you want to…like the 2000 Florida election.
FIRE NATE NOW, PLEASE!
La-Mar-Cus Al-dridge!

is it just me
or is bedge loading like glacially slow currently?
I don't always root for an NBA franchise, but when I do, I prefer the Portland Trail Blazers.
SBN was down for a couple of hours
Some sort of problems with their internet server. I wouldn’t be surprised if there are glitches all evening.
SB Nation has been slow today, yeah.
That said, LMA will be picked as an All-Star reserve. No worries there, folks.
"I Am Mine"
I am so relieved....
to now know that a true inside source, and not just some random guy on a sports blog, has inside information that LA will indeed be picked; I can do the sleepies tonight with no worries. Hell! he even told me so! He says above: ‘No worries there, Folks.’

Wher can we see the full list ?
I’d like to see how Batum and the other Blazers did. And check if I was the only one who voted for them.
I believe I voted for Nico, Aldridge, Camby and Wesley
left out Crash because 1) only 2 Forward spots, and 2)he already has been an all star

I'm supprised
that CWebb continues to call LMA the best PF in the league, and keeps saying he thinks he could be as good as Duncan. I disagree with the 2nd opinion but its cool to hear guys advocate for him.
I've been comparing Aldridge to Duncan for a couple years
to me, they have very similar games, well young Duncan, before he transitioned to being more of a Center and a PF

LA is better than Duncan.
Has more heart. He is a young Sheed from the shoulders down. Better than Webber ever was too.
Blazer fans should be thrilled. Sheed had that attitude everyone hated here, but it made him fierce on the block. LA dosent. He may get more fierce, but will never have the attitude. Be careful what you wish for.
So let him be LA, and enjoy it, he’s only 26, and will only get better !!
just win baby !
Nah, Tim Duncan doesn't have the casual fan base needed to get elected on the downside of his career.
He’s not Iverson in that regard.
"I Am Mine"
Not going to bother paying attention to this year's AS game.
The starting lineups have only three people I would be interested in watching: Durant & Rose & Wade. They rest of them would all make a top twenty list of players I dislike with most of them being in the top 10.
Proud to be a Republican.

I wouldn't have a problem with putting Love over LA,
but LA is not better than Griffin IMO.
"There is nothing shrewd about running a red light and later finding out it kept you from being hit by an asteroid." - philofthenorth
I actually think it's the opposite.
griffin is one-dimensional on offense and horrible on defense, while love can score in the paint and at the three point line, and rebounds at historic levels
"Wide, girthy. Just like a Rhino. Sometimes my horns are visible."
Blake Griffin is not one-dimensional on offense.
He’s got some of the best handles I’ve ever seen on a 4. Not quite C-Webb level, but still pretty sweet.
"I Am Mine"
But still is a terrible defender
Every big guy can score, but defense is important too. Marcus camby is a great example

Blake's short-armed defense is shoddy, yeah.
I’d even consider him a worse defender than K-Love.
"I Am Mine"
yeah, I didn't quite say that right
what I meant was more along the lines of how he doesn’t have a very good outside shot, nor does he have good moves in the post, but he just relies on his insane athleticism to power him through to the rim. that doesn’t always work, and against some defenders it looks like he struggles a lot. I guess some of those other moves will come in time, though.
he’s got good handles, but I was mainly talking about the way that he scores.
"Wide, girthy. Just like a Rhino. Sometimes my horns are visible."
I know the starting lineup is a popularity contest
but I still think it’s a shame carmelo anthony got into the starting lineup. I think that the Knick’s failures prove that he really makes his teammates worse.
"Wide, girthy. Just like a Rhino. Sometimes my horns are visible."
the only other time I agreed with shaq....
… Was when he said hedo-do-do…
" one thing I hate more than a L*ker, is TWO L*kers.... "
The logjam at forward in the West that was talked about so much last year is not as prominent this season.
I would be EXTREMELY surprised if LaMarcus gets snubbed this time. Normally three reserve forwards are chosen and of those in the running, only Kevin Love has a real argument for a more all-star worthy first half of the season.
Love and Aldridge will both be among the reserve forwards in the West, along with either Nowitzki or Duncan solely out of nostalgia. Gallinari has an outside chance as well.
