Ray Felton Positive Post
I just realized that after 20 games last year, Rays stats increased dramatically and he had his best year ever. Some of that was because he went from being on the bench to starting, some of it was due to the fact he went into Dantonis hyped offense. But also maybe its because he needs 20 games to get it going, and figure things out. Now Ive been harsh and kinda anti Ray because lets face it, he hasnt been playing that good. But Heres to Ray finally getting it going! Ray, the first 20 games have come and went, last nights game was a great warmup to get this thing going. I hope your first triple double starts tonight with the Kings. So everyone, lets try one big massive effort to send Ray some positive mental vibe. I gotta feeling that he might get it going. So CHEERS! Ray, good luck tonite!

Cheers to beers (and Ray)!
You know…there once was that other guy who tended to start off the season slow and work his way into game shape? I think he played for us, too….what was his name?

mmm...no...he wasn't a white dude....
I seem to recall him having a striking resemblance to Richard Pryor….I….just….can’t….remember his name..?!?!?

Maybe listening to Ice-T would help?

I heard the climate is good for clear thinking in Denver.

Maybe it will shake out in the playoffs who you're thinking about.
As compared with where the Blazers look like they’ll be.

I thought he played really well last night
my fingers are crossed for Ray Ray too…him getting it going would be a major boost.
One of the things that’s hard for me about going to the games in person is hearing the fans gripe based on what I perceive as the influence of collective public opinion. Middle aged woman sitting next to me was just trashing Ray every time he took a shot (“Oh my gosh he made one, there’s his one in fifty”). I doubt she knows much about his past production or anything prior to his time in Portland, which I understand has been extremely underwhelming thus far. She was just fine with Jamal though.
I appreciate that we have a knowledgable fan base, that there are people within earshot who know about Byron Mullens, etc… but sometimes I feel like there’s a collective arrival at an opinion, that label gets slapped on the guy, and good luck getting it off once that happens. I hope Ray’s slow start hasn’t doomed him in the court of Portland public opinion, but at the very least it’ll be an uphill climb for him to turn it around.

YA RAY I AGREE LETS BE POSITIVE WE LOVE YOU RAY because
hes been playing so well!!! His shooting has been deadly, his decision making is perfect, court vision comparable to steve nash, and man in the offseason he must train harder than Walter Payton because he is just running past dudes.

i tested ray felton positive once

Something positive?
Well, at least Felton’s name isn’t Patty Mills.

Yeah, that would just be too easy. Funny stuff AK.
Blunts and cupcakes...Bumble Bee's secret weapon.
I'm just thinking of the nicknames he would have if his name was Patty; but yeah, that too.

He needs to shoot the 3 better...NOW. 1-7 tonight, and missed game wide open game winner.

GForce Crash Wallace FTW!
if you give him any sort of praise, his game will suffer.
that’s why I’m quick to blame the guy for all of the Blazers’ problems.
Reverse psychology. It’s bloody mental.

Felton = Fail
I would have turned the corner as a supporter if he hits that wide open 3 to send the game to OT. Same old doghnut chucker.
OOOh maybe if we put a pic of ray on the backboard and some how make his mouth the rim and then get some graphic on the ball that makes it look like a jelly roll that will increase his %.
Ray Felton: best job he ever did was a rim job
same old donut chucker?
You must be referring to the 23 games he’s been with us because you’re not referring to last year.

you mean when he came off the bench ? because right now Felton is proving himself to not be a starting caliber point guard
There is a reason why Larry brown there is a reason why Larry brown took the starting job from him and gave it to DJ Augustin he then left and went to the Knicks in which Dantonis system allowed him to pad his stats but Feltons plays like this 3/4 months out of every year he plays .
hes not a starter hes a good backup

give me a break
I said nothing about starting caliber versus good backup caliber. You said “donut chucker”…if anyone is a “donut chucker”, which I would guess means bad shooter, it’s Andre Miller!! All I was saying is if Ray Felton were the “SAME OLD DONUT CHUCKER” as the guy who shot 35% on 3s last year we wouldn’t have a problemn would we?

Come on yall, POSITIVITY
this post is for being positive. Yeah Rays been sucking it up, yeah he missed a potential game tying 3, yeah he shot 1-7 for 3s…yada yada yada.
Ive been one of his harshest critics this year.
But this post is about being positive. Trying to think positive. Instead of thinking negatively as a group, and thinking hes gonna suck, CHANGE YOUR PERSPECTIVE! : ) Collectively, if we think positively, maybe it will effect some positive change. But please dont come here and be negative.
Thank You,
CJB

besides every post on here right now is either a negative post about us sucking
or a trade post or a blow it up post — this is one of the few posts trying to be positive. There is lots of other places to be negative about Ray.

I commend your efforts CJB
keep up the good work…I believe in Ray

now if he just either gets better at shooting from the three or just stops shooting as many,
we should be better off

RAY RAY!!!
I love Raymond. Give him time. We didn’t sign him to the team thinking that he was Chris Paul! He is an above average point guard with great potential. Let him grow. PATIENCE EVERYONE!
I really appreciate that his confidence hasn’t dropped at all in the recent weeks. KEEP SHOOTING RAY RAY!
