The city of Seattle is working with investor Chris Hansen to produce a plan for a multi-sport arena that could help land an NBA team to replace the Seattle SuperSonics, who left for Oklahoma City in 2008. John Boyle of the Everett Herald reports that Portland Trail Blazers owner Paul Allen has released a statement regarding the effort to return an NBA team to Seattle through his NFL team, the Seattle Seahawks. ------------------------------- "It was a sad day when the Sonics left Seattle, a move I opposed.
