If a team isn't a contender for a championship, should they start every single one of their young, bench players at least once? Not at the same time, but one game at a time. One bench player - one game. Clearly, teams may never know who can really play until you give them a chance. I get it - some of these players have been given a few minutes of time and they look uncomfortable and awkward, but what if that same player got 30-plus minutes, especially if those minutes were important minutes?
You can't find a diamond in the rough during the final two minutes of the second quarter.
