Our guards blow.
It's not surprising that Jamal Crawford is having the same effect that Brandon Roy did on the Blazers. What happens with players like crawford, Iverson, mello and yes your our beloved Brandon Roy, the savior of the Portland Trailblazers, is that everyone stands around watching that player dribble and then eventually shoot. You know, for example at the end of a quarter, just like Roy, crawford is going to dribble the ball in one spot, then with about 5 seconds left, start dribbling, like a jack ass, between the legs, behind the back etc etc, then pull up for an off balanced 25 foot fade away. even though, Batum is wide open 15 feet away. It's actually quite nauseating. I have wanted Roy off the team for at least 4 years so that I could watch a team again, not this BS.
Then there is Raymond Felton...wow! I have never seen a less court aware player in my life. Sergio Rodriguez was twice the guard he is. Rodriguez though, was on a short leash. why? hmmm...I have no Idea. It seems like our coach just doesn't enjoy watching exciting basketball. Rodriguez was pulled from every game he played after his first turnover. If Nate applied that same standard to Spencer he would probably get a total of 5 minutes a game. Raymond Felton is an embarrassment to the NBA.
Mathews doesn't seem to get as many wide open looks as he used to get but while he plays hard on defense, his ball handling is horrible. Never seen a player just lose the ball for no reason. He always complains to the ref even though it's obvious he just lost the ball.
Do any of these guards know how to run a fast break. My god, I learned that in 6th grade. where is Jack Ramsay when you need him?

These guards do blow.
I would rather have T. Leslie start for us at the 2.
One Goal, One Passion - Blazers
I don't mind Crawford
as a scoring 1/2 that comes off the bench.
Can’t stand having him as our primary ball handler for long stretches though.
Wes has no handles, and so his value plummets when his threes aren’t going in.
Felton. I won’t even bother.
Our non-GM really needs to bring us a Guard who we can actually trust with the ball. Is that so much to ask?

Brandon would dribble around, and then get a lay up.
Boy do I miss him.
My favorite teams are the Blazers and any team that is playing the Lakers.
our guard Ray-blow.

Don't ever compare Crawford to #7.

i was gonna say...
how can you lump roy and crawford together? Roy would make his shots, ESPECIALLY when it needed to count.

If anything, this team needs to slow back down. This love of fast-paced, run-and-gun slop needs to cease. Let’s return that style of gym ratball to the local rec league, for it’s got no business in the NBA.
you are incorrect
in the times they have had fast breaks, they run down the court way too close to each other where one defender can guard all of them. It is a joke.
Roy was obviously way better than crawford
what I am saying is that Roy had the same affect on his teammates as crawford. They all stand around and watch. Roy obviously finished better, but that is no way to play basketball.
