Great Trade..though unlikely

The trade involves IND and NO

PDX receives- Darren C. George H. Danny G. and Emeka O.

NO receives- Camby and Batum

IND receives- Wallace, Wes and Armon

I think that this wouldn't be the final move because we would have both felton and collison so we would trade felton. Also this sets us to nicely for a playoff run this year and longer, i think that Hill is a solid 2 and having him take Wes place is easy, no granger is a nice piece replacing batum. I think that draft picks would have to be added to IND to puff it, or if NO was willing to deal gordon to them then i think that IND would think about it. I see all these posts about getting nash and rondo, nash may help us this year but we will not being winning the championship most likely this year or next, now rondo is the best choice but we just dont have enough pople to dangle, Boston was only dangling him with the likes of cp3 and westbrook. really like collison and i like this trade for us.. thoughts?

No chance Indiana agrees

Collison & Granger are the pacers franchise building blocks. Wallace, Wes & Armon is a slap in the face in terms of an offer for those players. George Hill is a good piece too. New Orleans would pull the trigger in a heart beat. This deal is extremely homer-esqe.

They are looking for a upgrade at point guard,

And might try to get rid of granger and start Paul George at the 3, but if they did trade, it would have to be for an elite PG.

Draft picks?

of our own?

I doubt they’d be good picks. they’ll want either a near all-star player or a top ten draft pick in order to give up granger, because that’s probably what some teams will give up for danny granger.

i didnt look as it as a " homer-esqe" type of trade...

i think that draft picks would have to be included to them and then as i mentioned i dont know for sure but if maybe a 4th team was involved to give NO picks and more players then maybe they deal gordon who they love.. so who knows

I understand...

what you guys say, and im not disagreeing but i also mentioned that if maybe a 4th team is involved and IND gets gordon and picks then maybe.. i just wish we had collision or jrue holliday, there both young and fast and can shoot

trades with .500 or below teams are most likely to work

Indiana is in the Playoff hunt and looking to get Home Court in the first round. not happening.
