Anyone else like Ramon?
Cleveland would not be opposed to an expiring deal like Felton's. Ramon Sessions has been consistently excellent for the Cavs but clearly isn't part of their long term plans with Kyrie around. Granted, he's not a future hall-of-famer like Nash, but he's certainly an improvement over Ray and it's a low-risk move. If the Cavs want Nolan or Elliott in the deal we fill that spot with Earl Boykins!

How bout this

But I like Jose Calderon Poor man’s Nash
http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=89bcw9b
Eh
he is shooting 35% this season from the field :\ No thanks.

Well, I guess that makes him better than Felton.
But still not good enough if we want to do anything more than barely staying afloat
"Wide, girthy. Just like a Rhino. Sometimes my horns are visible."
I like any deal that brings better PG play
And While Ramon’s FG% would be a concern, he is nearly 38% from the three, and he wouldn’t be forced to take as many wild shots in PDX (we would hope)
Not the biggest Calderon fan but at the right price anything is better than Felton
I say deal with ANY team that willing to take on Felton
Given that
There is only one player in the entire NBA who plays more minutes than Felton does while producing a lower PER: Toronto Raptors wing DeMar DeRozan
it seems like anybody would be an upgrade
Ramon is good choice

I also like Louis Williams
True
Im not against having Sessions. I would really just love to have Rivers.
Ramon Sessions is Fool's Gold
We could have had him a couple years ago and we passed on him for a reason. He’s a SG trapped in a PG’s body. Bayless v.2.0. No thanks.
No more me-first players not willing to get the ball to Aldridge.
That being said, I don’t think you can get anything of value for Felton at this point. He’s not worth a pick in this year’s draft, and the only reason anybody would take him is for his expiring deal, which is more valuable to Portland this summer anyway. Face it kids, we’re stuck with Felton. I sure thought he’d be better than this.
Felton 4 Hinrich swap
They need a better backup PG for Teague and we need someone who can play some defense & hit a 3 point shot when Aldridge is doubled.

Right now any one is better than Felton....
In any trade Felton should be the first man out, but…. I do believe there is not point in trading Felton now or anytime this season if it doesn’t help your chances of getting out of the first round. I still think that even with Felton at point ( or back up point now that Nate is considering it) that this team is still a playoff team. There is no point in trading for a point guard that has a a larger contract ( yrs wise).
That’s my take on all this. As much as Felton frustrates me, I wouldn’t trade Felton for a pg that’s has 2 or more yrs on its contract unless it’s an all star caliber player.
I think flexibility in cap space every yr will be the key for sucess in this new cba.

Ramon gets dimes
True statement. And that’s with a sorry team in Cleveland. Put the man with LA, GW, and Nic and we’re talking even better than his current 11 dimes per 48 minutes he gets in Cleveland. This is one of the only guys we could reel in with Felton’s expiring deal and I think it brings us a lot closer to getting out of the 1st.
He can at least dunk the ball...
He can finish on a fast break and looks a lot quicker.
