Gameday Open Thread: Blazers vs Hornets

The Blazers seem to be enjoying Mardi Gras a bit early, not bothering to show up for the first half against an undermanned New Orleans Hornets squad. Hang out here to see the inevitable Blazers comeback. -- Tim

Lets go 'zers...

But this was not so for Brandon Roy who listened to teammate Nicolas Batum, "You're an All-Star, a 3-time All-Star. Take the ball. They can't stop you. You just have to believe in yourself."

He will come in one of the pre-chosen forms. During the rectification of the Vuldrini, the traveler came as a large and moving Torg! Then, during the third reconciliation of the last of the McKetrick supplicants, they chose a new form for him: that of a giant Slor! Many Shuvs and Zuuls knew what it was to be roasted in the depths of the Slor that day, I can tell you!

Youth -- not seniors

If they’re below .500 at the trade deadline, it’ll be expiring contracts for draft picks and write off this season.

by kacee on Feb 10, 2012 6:16 PM PST up reply actions

im all for a trade

if it’s for the right person. tbh, i hope we don’t make one just to get better this season. there’s not one available player out there than can make us a contender, so there’s no real point to making a move unless it’s for the future

PHILLY!

Been following Jeremy Lin on Knicks tonight instead. He’s looking more and more legit.

We are so bad at running a fast break that we won’t risk getting a defensive rebound and getting laughed at

Pretty weak D and sluggish ball persuit.

These guys look defeated right now. It’s pathetic. Nut up and crush ‘Nola and salvage this season or we’ll…we’ll…we’ll complain even more than if you started winning more and made a playoff push. So, yeah.

We are such a disappointing team. I think we have ego problems and personality conflicts. Crawdawg is a cancer. And Felon has a bad attitude.

Can someone please tell me how we might lose to a team with

Vasquez,Okafor, Ariza, Belinelli and Gustavo Ayon in the starting lineup? Damn the bench is even worse with Aminu, Xavier henry and Sloan seeing the bulk of minutes lol.

In short, we’re hardly over par playing a D-League team.

Remind me of Nash a little the way he dribbles in thee paint and uses his body. Not as good of shooter or left hand obviosuly, but kid’s legit IMO. Dribbles very low to ground makes him deceptively quick

I don't care what anyone says. Lin will cool off, he will get scouted, and he will come back down the earth.

I’m glad that Carmelo is being exposed though. This guy scores 30 Knicks lose. Melo doesn’t play and put in a d leaguer and they win.

But when you consider he was possibly going to be cut last week, and now he’s a starter…
