Earl Boykins!

I happen to think that a decent backup point would make all the difference on this team and there is one sitting idle waiting for a call that I absolutely love. Earl Boykins! Great shooter, great handle, great energy! Yeah he's five two or whatever, but he's going against backups. how many backup point guards have a post game? Plus he can actually run the fast break without dribbling off his foot or passing the ball off someones knee. He's cheap, he's skilled, and most of all, he's available.

I was advocating signing Boykins last season

over Patty Mills/Armon Johnson as our primary backup PG behind Andre. They also had history together in Denver. But with the way things are going it seems like we would be better off with a youth movement.

I think its pretty unlikely that our young guards are going to see any

meaningful time unless we completely fall off the cliff.

When I say youth movement

I mean, aside from Aldridge/Batum/Williams(Elliot) we should be up for trading anyone.

As of now

simply because he is an unknown commodity to us and the team we would be potentially trading him to. If some team asked for him as filler on a great player of course we say yes though
