In a fun and entertaining first half, the Blazers lead the Bobcats by 26 points at halftime. Hang out here and hopefully laugh a lot while watching the bench during the second half. -- Tim

Postgame thread is still considered part of Gameday

Until recently it was actually still called “Gameday Open Thread (Postgame)”, but that was changed in a recent minor reorg to “FINAL” for readability. They’re still busy enough to keep them clean.

Things get back to normal for Dave’s recap.

guards used to be able to extend their arm and touch an O player on their body with no foul call.

alvin robertson used to just manhandle everyone.
later they changed it to an extended arm in the back only.

then there was a proliferation of players doing the mj “back down starting at the arc” move.
derek harper would just shove and shove and shove on the hip and force ugly fadeaways.

ak84 probably still laments the day they aborted this defensive allowance…

The Blazers, however, sat at 98 points to the extreme dissatisfaction of the crowd, ready to riot at any time.

I have a lot of free time.

Funny but true.

Watching

How stubborn Nate is, he will never, never win a championship. The idea with a 50 point lead he can’t deviate from plan shows you all you need to know. He cannot adapt to circumstances in a timely manner. God it’s frustrating even in a good win.

CJ really is bad this year...REALLY bad. Not sure what happened over the summer.

Someone said he has no idea where to be in defensive sets..foul machine…I’ve seen that.

I just wanna get out oldest player off the floor.

No point in risking injury to an actual important piece of our team. Even if he is a bench player.

Liking the agressiveness of EW

But this was not so for Brandon Roy who listened to teammate Nicolas Batum, "You're an All-Star, a 3-time All-Star. Take the ball. They can't stop you. You just have to believe in yourself."
