Yeah, it was my turn to make a junk drawer.

As some of you know, I'm a musician -- well that's not so true -- I'm a song writer and an iffy musician. I'm working on a piece (2+ hours) based on the book Blood Meridian. There is no script (that I know of) but I see the movie in my mind, so I'm composing to that. I'm also finishing up an album based on a short story I wrote about a crazy bicycle race. the short story is so-so, but the movie that could be written from it is sweet.

Anyway, Here's the non-manditory junk drawer topic:

What book that has not been made into a movie do you think would make a neat movie?

What book should NEVER be made into a movie?

Ironically, my answer is Blood Meridian for both.

If I had to choose one from each category, I suppose it would be Should: Crying of Lot 49 Should Not: Zen and the Art of Archery
