Terry Stotts Report Card (poll)

I have loved watching the Trail Blazers this season and I think that Terry Stotts deserves a lot of credit. It appears to me that he has the Blazers:

  • Playing unselfish basketball
  • Nicolas Batum has been a different player this year
  • Luke Babbitt is relevant using the dribble (does one bounce count as a dribble) to get an open shot
  • The team has been winning games without a starting center
To me, (and I am not an expert) I think Stotts has done a fantastic job and has the team winning more than they were expected. I was a fan of Nate, but I love Terry's performance so far and see him sticking with the team for several years. I have also liked listening to him in a few of the interviews I have listened to as he seems to have a natural comfort with the media types.

I would like to hear your thoughts? Has he made any coaching decisions that have been noteworthy? How much of Damian Lillard's success do you think can be attributed to coaching (Stotts)?

As of this post, the Blazer are .500 and I expect them to finish above that at the end of season (if they can beat a team like the Kings at the RG).
