ESPN is reporting the Bulls may release Nate before his contract becomes guaranteed on January 1st. This would be a monster pickup for our thin (although more recently productive) backup squad. He's shooting a decent clip this season at 40% from the field, 36% from three and over 80% from the line. He would bring firepower and some hometown feel for a team that could really use some. Bottom line, he'd be a productive player off the bench and nice Olshey grab.
