Marc Stein over at ESPN just released his Weekend Dime. He speculates which players that are most likely to be traded at the deadline. Im not saying we should make a trade but I just know alot of folkson here who think we should. Personally, there are so many ins and outs to trades concerning contracts, clauses, and all kinds of rules I know too little about to make any type of accurate trade prediction/suggestion. But part of being a fan is speculating on how the team might get better. So any ways, back to the Dime. Here are some of the players he lists as possible trade bait. What do you think? Do any of these players even interest you? How do you think we might entice other teams in to trading with us? Are any of these players even possible for us to get? To me Anderson Varejao is standing out the most of anyone on that list, but I would think that it would gut our team to get the likes of him. Hes the best center statistically in the NBA right now, which means his price is high. Id love to see him on this squad though. Can you imagine AV, LMA, WES, NIC, DAMES! Thats a pretty sweet looking 5! Also, if you want someone that isnt on this list, or you have some trade machine trades for us to check out, post them here. Maybe if the trade drawer sticks around for a bit, it will save some room on the fanpost list for other folks fanposts. So feel free to post any ideas you have or chat about the ones I posted.
