I WANT JJ REDDICK.
Our current 10-deep(ish) roster:
Lillard/Price
Wes/Barton
Nico/Pavlovic
LA/Jeffries
Hickson/Leonard.
Portland trades: Elliot Williams, Joel Freeland, and both of Portlands 2nd round picks (from Minnesota and Memphis). Portland receives: JJ Reddick
Then, in the offseason, Portland signs Tyreke Evans (whom the Kings will not extend, or re-sign) for 4 years, 36 million dollars.
On draft day, Portland drafts CJ McCollum (another athletic dead-eye shooter) at 11. McCollum leads the NCAA in scoring at 26.5 a game, on 50% from the field, and 55% from three on 5 attempts a game. He is not on a hot streak, seeig as he posted the same numbers his firt three years in college. He is a 6'4 combo guard. Think of him as a bigger Jimmer Freddette...except he plays defense and is much more athletic. Portland keeps Jeffries and Price for the veteran minimum.
Lillard/McCollum/Price
Wes/Reddick/Barton
Nic/Evans/Claver
Aldridge/Hickson/
Leonard/Jeffries/
The bench scoring needs have been addressed to the point where we can have a second "unit" as opposed to keeping 2 starters on the floor at all times.
