Celtics G Rajon Rondo Suspended For Friday's Game Vs. Blazers

Jared Wickerham

Boston Celtics guard Rajon Rondo has been suspended for Friday's game against the Portland Trail Blazers.

Boston Celtics president Danny Ainge told WEEI radio that All-Star guard Rajon Rondo has been suspended two games by the NBA for his role in a shoving match with Brooklyn Nets forward Kris Humphries that carried into the stands during a Wednesday night game at TD Garden.

The first game of Rondo's suspension will be a Friday night game against the Portland Trail Blazers in Boston.

Here's video of the incident via YouTube user HardwoodParoxysm09.
