Boston Celtics guard Rajon Rondo has been suspended for Friday's game against the Portland Trail Blazers.

Boston Celtics president Danny Ainge told WEEI radio that All-Star guard Rajon Rondo has been suspended two games by the NBA for his role in a shoving match with Brooklyn Nets forward Kris Humphries that carried into the stands during a Wednesday night game at TD Garden.

The first game of Rondo's suspension will be a Friday night game against the Portland Trail Blazers in Boston.
