Blazers players might be young, untested, and in for an up and down season but at least we're starting the season with a healthy starting 5. Lakers, Bulls, T-Wolves all start their season with stars on the bench still recovering. I'm happy that's not this team this year. Just straight up excited that we get to see our starting five start at the start of the season. Get to know what this new team's got from day one. (Knocked on wood.)
So much better than last year at this time. Oden is no longer a broken question mark sadly standing in the background. B-Roy is back running (happy for him), but on questionable knees and for another team (happy for Portland). LA has no heart problems and he's ready to go, he's got to be happy to finally have a roster that can rest him when he needs it.
E-Will is the sad exception, but at this point his injuries are almost and most sadly expected.
Anyway here's to the good health of the team, may it stay that way.
A season with out major injuries would feel like a win. Heck, just starting the season with out lingering injuries feels like a win. I'll take it. Glad I'm not a T-Wolves fan. They're in for a delayed heart breaking season with Rubio and Roy. Best of luck to them.
