Prior to joining Blazer's Edge, I had no idea who Adam Morrison was. Since he was signed to the preseason roster, however, I keep seeing his name in FanPosts and on comment threads. So I did a little research, and by that I mean I glanced at his Wikipedia page. He appears to be these things: Semi-regional college star. Draft bust. Bench-warming championship winner. Type-A diabetes poster boy. Champion of unflattering facial hair. But that seems to be about it. For a dude who's fighting for a spot at the end of a paper-thin bench, Adam Morrison gets a lot of love around here. Since he was added to the training camp roster, there have been at least three FanPosts dedicated strictly to AMMO. During that same time, LMA, Damian Lillard, Victor Claver, and Meyers Leonard have each had one FanPost, respectively. I get that it's a rebuilding year, and that Blazers fans will find hope, fun, and intrigue wherever they can. And that's cool! But why Adam Morrison? What makes this guy so special? Or is this just one big ironic lovefest, a la Luke Babbitt?*
