WADA: NBA Drug Testing Insuffient, Ignores HGH
After strongly rebuilding testing for cyclists, the World Anti-Doping Agency has set its sights on the NBA, accusing it of having 'gaps' in its drug testing. Amongst the biggest: A lack of testing for Human Growth Hormone, something that the NBA has banned, but says they don't believe it would help performance. the WADA disagrees. I'd very much like to see HGH tested for in the NBA. There are still ways to hide from drug testing, but making it harder to hide is a good thing.
