The Portland Trail Blazers have claimed Justin Holiday off of waivers.
The Portland Trail Blazers announced Friday the claim of guard/forward Justin Holiday off of waivers. Holiday is expected to join the team on Sunday and will wear No. 10.
Holiday, 23, attended the University of Washington and played professionally in Belgium last season. He is the brother of Philadelphia 76ers point guard Jrue Holiday.
Holiday was in camp with the Cleveland Cavaliers before he was waived earlier this week. He played for the Philadelphia 76ers at 2012 Las Vegas Summer League. Jordan Sams of LibertyBallers.com did this interview with him over the summer.
