Henry Abbott of TrueHoop.com points out that the Hoopism.com crew is back with another year of age analysis.
Last January, the Portland Trail Blazers were 13th in average age (27.7 years old) and 15th (27.45 years) if you weighted their age by minutes played.
This year, the Blazers have moved up the charts, now ranking No. 7 (28.01) in average age and No. 5 in weighted age (29.05 years).
Last season's oldest team by weighted age: the NBA champion Dallas Mavericks. The Eastern Conference Champion Miami Heat were No. 6 last season. The other conference finalists, the Chicago Bulls and Oklahoma City Thunder, were No. 18 and No. 30 respectively.
