I just laughed at all those Fanposts

That said how Felton was going to stretch the defense and give us that new ‘element’ that Andre didnt give us. Uhhh, nope

Personally...

I laugh at posts like these because Felton does bring a new element… That element is speed and p/r. Sorry he doesn’t lob like Andre. But he has the same numbers Andre had all last year and we have a better record.

Felton was the X-Factor in the OKC game.

Now a couple of lackluster team efforts by the Blazers that he hasn’t magically bailed us out of and he’s a goat all of a sudden. Leave the guy alone, he will end up being an improvement over Andre Miller down the stretch.

by looster401 on Jan 8, 2012 7:36 PM PST up reply actions

Or you could look at it another way

He had one good game. So far…in all the games, he makes poor passes and bad shot attempts. Andre very rarely made those errors. It’s a message board, we don’t have to leave the guy alone.

wake me in 2012

by jstbeachy on Jan 8, 2012 7:44 PM PST up reply actions

Add

In the Nate factor. The guy is extremely unreasonable with pg. miller basically told him to f himself. Only way he was able to play his game. I’m sure Felton is all messed up trying not to piss off “your not as good as me” Nate

by Cabbol on Jan 8, 2012 7:49 PM PST up reply actions

That doesn't explain

Why he can’t hit an outside shot to save his life though.

Henne is the greatest and the Dolphins will go 14-2 this year and win the SB

by zeusmith on Jan 8, 2012 7:50 PM PST up reply actions

Again look at the stats

His assist to T/O ratio is identical to Millers, so this “feeling” about how he looks when he plays is inaccurate.

by comptoncory on Jan 8, 2012 7:51 PM PST via mobile up reply actions

except his shooting percentage

Is a full 10% worse so far.

Henne is the greatest and the Dolphins will go 14-2 this year and win the SB

by zeusmith on Jan 8, 2012 7:53 PM PST up reply actions

But traditionally is a lot better

I bet he’ll be more consistent eventually.

ESPN says...

Felton – 37%
miller – 42%

That is only 5%. Oh yeah, we are winning

Im talking about last year

Henne is the greatest and the Dolphins will go 14-2 this year and win the SB

by zeusmith on Jan 8, 2012 8:06 PM PST up reply actions

Because

Nate has him thinking too much like he does all pg. he f with their heads. The minute I heard he was working with Felton you could see no way Felton can relax and just play. Miller was able to do it because he basically told Nate to f off. Nate will destroy Felton unless he is made of sterner stuff then he appears. Its always going to be tough to find a pg under Nate because no one is Nate.

Even when the Blazers were winning I didn’t feel he cared. I feel every Blazer on the roster cares about the team 100% today. It’s a business, sure. But optimism and passion is cantagious.

Yeah,

Talking to me in the playoffs when we have no bench and tired or injuries starters. That was pathetic. Seriously being drafted by blazers is a death sentence.

Is there a reason you see no need to consider the other members of this board when making a decision? One must always weigh risks and rewards.

Green

Wasnt that the guy Nate wanted over sessions? Moot point as he wouldn’t have got playing time. Sad to see blazers fans so short sighted. Quality minutes are gold for young players. When you have a golden opportu ity to play your young guys you have to do it. There is more to coaching the yelling “you have to hit your shots” with crossed arms.

But you only need a bench of 8-9 players… in the playoffs the teams that win usually run a 8-9 person rotation tops
