The D-League is never going to be great
The problem with the D-League is that’s it’s a few NBA hopefuls and then the rest of the folks are mostly folks not good enough for Europe.
Yeah, I'm not sure you can take anything from the D-League seriously.
The “crowd” seems to agree. There are more people at a high school freshman game.

No turnovers, a steal, a block, 57% shooting, 71% TS%
Blazers should try to trade for this guy.

I think the hoope is to give Babbitt confidence
but perhaps it does the opposite because the opposition is so bad, every time he comes back to the NBA its a shock all over again. IDK, it seems like it must be better than sitting on the bench, but he at least if he’s here he’s practicing against real nba players. I guess there is not going to be much practice this year though.
The guy clearly has some issues
Can’t hit wide open shots in the NBA (including preseason) and misses more free throws than he normally would.
He would probably benefit from being on a team like the Wizards where he can get consistent playing time.
In D.C., Luke Babbitt wouldn't get off the bench over prized rookies Chris Singleton and Jan Vesely.
Just trade Babbitt and Armon Johnson to Indiana, which has got cap space and two open roster spots.

Babbitt and Johnson could then reunite with the guy who drafted them, Kevin Pritchard. Heck, Pritchard has already convinced his boss, Larry Bird, to take on one ex-Blazer benchwarmer in Jeff Pendergraph.
What’s two more?
"I Am Mine"
ultimately they needed more bench seating at the games
Luke simply wasn’t going to play so why take up a seat. If Nate needs another power forward body he will go with The Rhino. I hope Luke gets an entire season down there. He needs to find his groove. Armon will have to lead the league in steals and assists to even be considered by Nate anymore.
We may need to get Babbitt a sports psychologist
He bricks wide open shots in the NBA for some reason but lights scrubs and ex NBA players up in D-League with consitency. Something between his ears is holding him back.
you dont think he already has one? lol
