Gameday Open Thread: Lakers vs. Blazers (Second Half)
After not seeing the entire first half due to TNT showing the ATL/MIA triple overtime game (Seriously TNT, you've got TBS, show the other game!), we can finally see the second half of tonight's Blazer game. The Lakers lead by 4 at halftime.

But this was not so for Brandon Roy who listened to teammate Nicolas Batum, "You're an All-Star, a 3-time All-Star. Take the ball. They can't stop you. You just have to believe in yourself."

Moisture is the essence of wetness, and wetness is the essence of beauty.
At this point
I think you could have Oden on the floor with a walker and that’d be enough to give us complete domination of the league.
So who will get more rebounds by the end of the game:
Marcus Camby or the entire Lakers bench? Lakers bench is leading, but my money is on Camby.
How awesome
would be if Nic could come in and hit a couple of 3´s
Wow. I mean, the Roy era gave us some incredible moments.
But I have never been so perpetually enthralled by a Blazers team. I am really excited for this year! And I can’t even pick a favorite player on the team.

They have great depth as well, can't argue with that
I don’t know I think the C’s have an outside shot of making the playoffs. But if they don’t though I won’t be shocked since the main contributors to the team are well into their 30’s. Don’t know the legs of Truth, KG and Ray-Ray will hold come the postseason.

With Coach Zorro on our side, we will slice opponents to ribbons. Tim Tebow gives me hope and I already have faith and charity in my heart! I see a propitious future rife with Lombardis for our Broncos!

They WOULD make the lottery in the deepest draft in years.

2nd time tonight he's made a trick three worth zero. :-(
In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice they're not.
so many jumpers late game
Won’t cut it every time
well, they've cooled the jets
they’re not fast breaking and not getting as many looks at the rim. When you’re ahead near the end, the focus should be on burning the clock. So, I’m fine with it.

Wes with the trick shot

Sir Cumference… love that.

Lakers announcers have been very respectful and complimentary
by neutroticblazerfan on Jan 5, 2012 10:13 PM PST reply actions
yeah they're actually pretty decent
easier to listen to than Mike & Mike
I'm burnt out on the overhyped up and down of the Mikes..
Somewhere Michael Jordan is smiling at Gerald Wallace Blazer highlights.
yeah
its just… who wants to hear it from the Laker perspective?

I'm a believer
Nuggets, OKC, Lakers
We at least have a punchers chance at contending this year.

I want to see Aldridge hit a big shot down this stretch. He needs to hit some big shots.

Yup, we need a guy to key in on in the last seconds.
Even if we don’t use him, it will help steady the team.

Man we're so strong in the 4th QTR these days
Moisture is the essence of wetness, and wetness is the essence of beauty.
It's like at this point in his carreer, Kobe is figured out.
One third amazing offense, the other two thirds forced suckage.
Ah c'mon. Fouling now? Whatever.
In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice they're not.
Lakers couldn't even make a single run.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But this was not so for Brandon Roy who listened to teammate Nicolas Batum, "You're an All-Star, a 3-time All-Star. Take the ball. They can't stop you. You just have to believe in yourself."

TNT is having the mind trust detailing how great Bynum is after losing to the Blazers.
