Problem Steaming Games in Medford

Tried to purchase game at home and get a message like "sorry, streaming not currently available in your area". I checked to make sure my ISP (Charter) shows my correct location(Medford, OR 97504), tried deleting cookies, and tried different browser. Nothing worked. So today I decided to try on my work computer and it worked fine. The only difference I can see is I have a different ISP at work - Clearwire, and a different zip - 97501. Anyone know what the problem might be? Anyone from Medford have this problem?

Their streaming site has a button at the bottom of the purchase page for "Live Chat Support"

It’s at the bottom of this page. Log onto that chat, that’s the best place to find answers. If your not-available message is in error, they’ll have the best chance of fixing it.

Tried that too. They couldn’t help me but said they would forward my problem to someone. Never heard from them again.

You should be able to get it unless you are in Ashland ….Ashland has CSN on their cable system

I can help...

Just remember that it’s not really all about YOU watching the game. It’s about the NBA allowing you to be blacked out to satisfy a perception that profits are being maximized.

I am from Medford

When I visit I go to Ashland (mini-Eugene).

Since I have family there, could I use their login info to stream from PTown?

I think the LP black-outs use your IP address to determine your location, not your login info

That's also my understanding

If you have LP in Portland, you could watch Blazer games just if you’re vacationing in Florida, for example. (Assuming the Blazers are not playing the Heat or something, then the blackout rules apply for the other team)

I’ve done this many times in the past as I travel. The NBA seems to only worry about the blackout rule that’s local to your current location.

I have given up.

The stupid ‘Rav player’ is terminal – I am not offering up my computer for some point to point network, not to mention the thing never worked, other than stuttering garbage.
No deal. I can stream fine with the standard windows player from other sources.
I suppose they make money for Rav with this typically stupid arrangement.

Yeah, I've had problems, too

I basically gave up on trying to watch the games in Medford.
Normally I listen on the radio on 730 AM, but it seems like every high school game they broadcast is on a Blazers game night, and for some reason the HS games are more important.
Every once in a while the Portland signal comes over 750 AM, but its pretty lousy most of the time.
My48 has a couple of games every few weeks,
Wish I could be more help.

Try boiling an inch and a half of water in the bottom of the saucepan

before placing the games in a basket or colander in the pot. It works pretty well for most vegetables and meats, but I’ve never tried doing basketball games.
