Get rid of wallace felton and crawford
I believe that we targeted the wrong pieces for this team felton is a joke... and we need a serious point guard i think we can get Goran Dragic from huston they already have three point guards. We know he's good he lit us up in the play offs when b roy came back. he's sat behind one the best point guards in nash... he can shot the three he's not under size and he's a uptempo running point guard. plus he's not much at 2,108,000. they already have two good point guards in Johnny Fylnn and kyle Lowry. What they need is a power forward there not to great at that position i believe we could send Wallace there and get dragic and Terrance Williams the contracts work out...
Then addressing felton and crawford we need neither one of there services and Indiana needs a point guard but not a sg there stack in that position but that's where another team comes into play with use receiving a sg from Indiana and they getting felton and dumping crawford some where i'd wanna pick up Geroge Hill from Indiana. and just getting nothing back for crawford so the team would look like this this gives us abilty to play Elliot Willams in sg and
this also free up money to be a player in free agency
Dragic/smith
Mathews/Hill/ E Williams
Batum/T Willams/Babbit
LA/Smith/K Thomas
Camby/KThomas/Johnson

I understand the point of this Post:

Let’s get rid of LaMarcus too since he’s a bit soft.
We can always build around Babbitt and Diebler.

No
Just……no. I say get rid of Wallace, too inconsistent. Crawford will be fine. Felton is clearly out of shape but I feel like he’ll find himself as the season progresses.
The Camby man
To all those wanting to get rid of Wallace...
What do you think will happen to this team defensively if we cut Wallace out? A better offensive player with Wallace’s defensive skill is a big money guy. Who is that. Without Wallace defense drops considerably. Don’t we remember what it was like before he got here?

Jamal Crawford would be a far better player if the Blazers had a “pass first” point guard and not one which dribbles the ball off of his foot (seemingly) every game and fills up on Big Macs in the offseason. Can’t knock Crawford for struggling when they force him to play point guard too often. It’s like asking Wallace to play power forward. He can do it but he’s not as effective. Just ditch Felton. I was hoping the Suns might take something like Wallace, Felton + something/someone else for Nash. See what this team can do with a real point guard.

Get rid of Felton to bring here FlynnDragicLowryGet rid of Jamal and bring here Hill?Jamal will retire as a Blazer,so you would better get used to this…I like Felton, but if we could get Derron and give them Wallace and Felton i would do this(or Felton and Batum)..Curry would be a great fit too…Hibbert,Okafor and Landry will be the best options for 4,5…I just cant understand why you are against Jamal Crawford,a player that everybody loves him in Atlanta and nobody was happy that he left Atlanta…So much criticism on Felton, too or on G.Wallace…This is so sad about some fans…All these players are good players and we should be happy that we have them in our team,so support the Blazers and stop criticizing so hard…
Wallace is worth much more than Dragic+T-Will

hahahahahah
thats what you want out of it goran dragic… there is a reason the phoenix suns didnt sign him, your dreaming if you think he is anywhere near wallace, crawford, or felton in talent. all three are 5 times better then he ever thought of being so maybe you should think about this a little harder

No way
This team is still learning. Have some patience. We just got done with a 6 game road trip and a back-to-back-to-back.

ya cuz felton and crawford are doing wonderful for the over payed players that they are…. right? you can’t have wallace and batum on the same team just doesn’t work and your spending to much money at that position… felton will never be in shape…. and crawford is getting to old 31and turns the ball over more then a hook does tricks have you guys been watching the same games as i have? crawford single handily lost lastnights game… between the two they are avrg 5 turn overs a game and costing just 200,000 less then LA a year not to mention wallace who isn’t all star caliber is making nearly 10 with those three players shouldn’t they be combined scoring more then 34 points a game for 22 million a season that’s a lil over 1.5 per point they score
Well if it ain’t the players then it’s the garbage coaching… he doesn’t know how to coach anything but iso plays
evidently i have been watching different games than you.
which channel should i turn to instead?

well, crawford is not overpayed(5millions),wallace i think he is,i would make a new contract for him about 8 millions/season,felton i think he will get better…Also, there is a problem between Blazers fans about the age…when somebody turns to 30,31,32 then he is too old blablablabla…..i think Kobe is 33,Ray Allen 35,Kevin Garnett 35,Jason Terry 34,Dirk 33 etc…Jamal Crawford is not the guy to blame for lastnight,he is a gunner and he should take his shots…the problem was that there was not a guy to stop Curry(Wesley or Batum, thats McMillans fault) and when the game was close we didnt grab the rebounds and mr Lee had a party there in the low post…Dont criticise our team so hard, its the first time in the last few years that every player in the team is a good player(except Babbitt)…
last night's game was not lost by Crawford or Felton.
it was by a lack of moving without the ball that we lost. why don’t we have an open discussion about our stagnant road offense, instead of entertaining your fancy and suffering through your inability to write anything. this isn’t twitter or facebook; most of us can’t read lolspeak.

Dear God!
Someone call Fred and Carrie from Portlandia! How have they not done a segment about the Blazersedge fanpost commenters yet? Nothing is more Portland than Bi-Polar Blazerfan Disorder.

I gotta asay that
I am pretty supportive of the rosters portland has and whenever trade deadlines come I get antsy. When trades are made my first thought is “Uh oh. I dont know about that one.” But eventually appreciate the decision. I definately think we have some very expendable players but I also grow attached to the more often played ones. I think I keep a level head and do not participate in this Blazerfan bipolar disorder. It annoys me how wagon jumping some fans can be. That is a definition of alot of Lakers fans and Portland doesnt need that. I do think alot of Blazer fans need credit for being steady and not needing the bipolar pill.
I think the pill is called PDXtend
That is. it extends the stability of Blazerfans to prevent them from flipping out and saying “Blow the s$*! up”. I think the advertisement for the pill goes-
During this season have you though This team is the best team ever and then when things went bad thought blow up the roster and start over? Have you, at all this season, criticized Babbitt for his lack of production but when he made a 3 pointer thought it was the greatest thing on earth? If so, please talk to your doctor about getting PDXtend. You’ll be happier and Portland will love you for it.
did you just call Johnny Flynn a good pg?

both felton and crawfords percentages
are slowly rising. I imagine they will be around their career numbers after the next ten or fifteen games and everybody will be able to relax for once. Both good players getting acquainted with new teamates, new system and a new coach.
this is true considering Crawford is being asked to play PG and sometimes playing 10 less mpg than hes used too .
feltons percentages wil rise too Im mad at him because scoring should have nothing to do with him pushing the pace and our pace which was great has fallen off a cliff .
The two guys who people should be talking about are Crash and Wes . Crash only plays well at home and Wes is showing that he may not be a starting sg in the NBA but a 6th man .

Flynn and T-Will have no NBA value
Houston just declined options on both players. That is insanely rare for guys on rookie deals.

Dragic is better than felton. This is blazers edge nice try rockets fan! ;D

I say we take a flyer on Jonny Flynn.
He has high character and was the 6th overall pick just two years ago, so he has talent.
What do we have to lose. Worst case scenario he is the next Patty Mills, only with inferior towel-waving skills.
Batum Shakalaka
Hasheem Thabeet wanted me to tell you
Just because you’re picked in the top six that doesn’t mean you have talent

at least he is tall

I can’t tell if you’re stupid, a Rockets fan, or displaying the best show of sarcasm I’ve ever seen. I’ve decided I don’t care either, seeing as Chad Buchanen and Paul Allen are none of these things. well, Paul Allen’s gotta have a good hold on sarcasm..
