It would be huge if we swept this back-to-back-to-back
has anyone done this yet?
Get well Greg! Rip City is still behind you!
Not sure about him being set.
Karma for the Raymond Felton out of bounds and Rhino’s up and down.

What else did Rhino have to do for that to be called a charge?
Get well Greg! Rip City is still behind you!
I would be more mad if a missed Rhino travel hadn't just led to a Crawford three

with this garbage that nate is pulling
i can totally see nic taking the QO and bolting in a year.
PHILLY!
Some of these are bad calls
Some of these are tired-player fouls. When you lose your quickness due to exhaustion, you make up for it by fouling.
Nic Batum
is basically the second-best player on the team right now and he’s on the bench in the final five minutes. And they wonder why he doesn’t want to sign an extension.
I'm not one of those smug people that think they are smarter than an NBA coach
but man i think batum has been much more effective today than wallace
Get well Greg! Rip City is still behind you!
Wow can't get a call.............

Gotta play those vets, right, Nate?!

This is maddening.
If the Blazers are not going to play Batum on nights like this when he has been playing so well,
then WE DESERVE TO LOSE HIM!

(((o)))

How about this...Nic starts at the 3 on the road with GWall comin off the bench
Gwall useless ont he road
Nico on the bench + Nico on my fantasy team

won't help the defense much
trading shots isn’t something we can afford
Yes. Hate to reference this as an excuse, but they look deflated and I think they want to go home.
Which is why it’s on Nate to not play Batum more. He clearly had some springs and something to prove.
This game is slipping away...

It really is guys being tired. Camby is no where near Lee. Actually no one has been able to recover on defense.
Portland was going to need some lucky or some great coaching. Neither happened.
I wasnt expecting a win, but this game was very winnable
Get well Greg! Rip City is still behind you!
The allowance of moving picks by the Warriors
has been the biggest issue in this game. Total garbage by the refs all night long.
!!!o o!!!
OMG I just jizzed in my France
OMGrandpa
Watching this team feels like homework
I used to enjoy watching the Blazers
Is it just me or does Camby really like taking those defensive rebounds over Aldridge
Blazers basketball? Just basketball you say? More like a way of life
Really hurting that whole "average-a-double-double" thing Nate's pushing
Camby’s been a friggin’ Hoover the past couple of games.
I hate these GSW announcers.
Such homers, but without the entertainment value of Rice.
You must not watch them enough
They’re anything but homers. They criticize the team to the point where fans here don’t like them.
First time I've watched them.
Maybe I’m the homer :) I just think they should’a given a little credit for Portland being at the end of a b2b2b on the road.
As a Warriors fan.....
and long-time listener of Bob Fitzgerald and Jim Barnett, I can easily say they are homers. They do criticize the team but in the wrong ways, especially Fitzgerald. The worst part is he makes too many excuses for the Warriors whether it be injuries, officials, and what have you. He’s arrogant, and as a play-by-play guy, he talks way to much and analyzes the game too much; that’s what a color guy is for.
I feel bad for fans across the nation that have to listen to his complaining and whining of the same things. I’ve been wanting Fitz to leave for a while, and he’s even worse on his radio show every weekday from noon-3
Thanks for that.
That’s the sense I got as the game wore on but I don’t watch that much basketball so I wasn’t sure.
Nic iisn't tired.
I’m not a huge Nic fan but he should be in. He was playing too well to be on the bench.
im TIRED of pro sports players
getting the tired excuse or the its early in the season or this or that. im sorry these are professional ATHLETES, those excuses just fall waaaaay short for me
by cavejunctionblazer on Jan 25, 2012 9:40 PM PST reply actions
i tend to agree to a point
that excuse is overdone. tonight it probably has a bit of merit seeing as its the 3rd of a b2b2b on the road, but i get so tired of hearing it whenever the blazers are doing bad, or anytime lamarcus plays over 35 minutes
this one is pretty obvious
they really have nothing left. Whether it’s considered an excuse or not, the outcome is the same.
weak sauce
pro athletes? yeah right get in shape for god sakes.
im tired waaaaaaaaaaaa

Nate calls no plays for Wes or Nic
the only ones shooting well this game
Airball by LMA
You think he’s tired? Announcers finally mentioned Blazer’s b2b2b in 4th quarter. geez.
Oh nic..
But this was not so for Brandon Roy who listened to teammate Nicolas Batum, "You're an All-Star, a 3-time All-Star. Take the ball. They can't stop you. You just have to believe in yourself."
by speakers92blazers on Jan 25, 2012 9:42 PM PST via mobile reply actions
LoL Nate puts Batum in when the game is near unreachable.
don’t they call that douche in french
"A magical shooting night"
Doesn’t that always happen when the Blazers are playing defense? Hahaha.
Again Nate pulls Felton down the stretch
And this is our PGOTF? Ummmm, hellooooooooo
Henne is the greatest and the Dolphins will go 14-2 this year and win the SB

Great end to a great game
Turnover … turnover … blocked layup … turnover … foul … foul…
Wow two straight TO by crawford
after batum saves
Blazers basketball? Just basketball you say? More like a way of life
How are people saying Crawford lost this game????
Crawford did not rotate poorly on all pick n rolls. He did not turn the ball over until the end. We’re tired. Get over it. Crawford played great.
Frustrating game
Between the Crawford TO’s and Felton losing Curry so many times in the 3rd we lost it.
"Ray give it away Felton" and "Jamal can't take care of the ball Crawford" are killing us.
Hot sauce in my bag.
he was actually the best PG we had tonight
and that scares me
blame nate for playing him at pg
"I told somebody to stop crying," Pendergraph said after the game. "Actually, I told them all to stop crying."
hes at PG because Felton is struggling and Nolan hasnt seized his minutes
In effect we brought in Crawford as a scorer then cut his minutes in most games by nearly 10 and then asks him to play PG and setup players who dont show up on the road .
If Felton was playing well then Crawford could play more minutes of the ball .
If Nolan seized his opportunities Crawford could play more minutes off the ball
Wes has had two 20 pt games this year thats just not good enough for a starting sg in a supposedly uptempo system whose playing 30+ mpg
Crash is shooting 63% at home and 30% on the road 18 pts at home 8 on the road
We have 3 starters who routinely dont show up now for road games and everyone is harping on Crawford for being aggressive and trying to carry them and give LA some help .
Then we have those who think we should ignore the starters and give Crawfords minutes to Nic instead iof being honest and saying the truth which is that Nic should be getting more of Crashs minutes especially on the road.
Its quite obvious that people are giving there starting faves a pass and using Crawford as a scapegoat .
Crawford is not the problem hes a inconsistent remedy to the problem . The problem is we have 3/5th of a starting lineup that can only play well at home .
I couldmake a case that we could start Crawford and Nic on the road games and Wes and Crash at home and the team would be better off for it

quick
For what it’s worth: Blazers president Larry Miller was in attendance watching this debacle by the guards. I know it’s early, but still …
PHILLY!
Crawford is just miserable.
He is a shooting guard. He shoot be shooting off of passes. His one-on-one game is infuriating.
Btw, if anyone didn't notice, it was Nic Batum on Curry on that 5 second violation.
Looked like they were trying to get it to him.
Cause of death...Felton completely losing Curry over and over again
Fix that one thing and we win by double digits. Maybe even blow them out.
