Gilbert Arenas?
Since he is still a free agent are we at all capable of signing Agent Zero?
I know he has had his moments of pure stupidity, but a couple months out of the league might set him a little more straight. I don't see a downside of signing him unless there is something in the rules I do not know. He is a huge upgrade over Nolan and Armon. In reality his scoring would be really useful.
Crawford can remain at the 2 instead of playing PG also.
We might not want both of them in at the same time, but sometimes it looks like this team needs a spark. So why not try it?
He didn't look bad at all last year, it was only six years ago he was close to 30 a game. and two years ago he was at 23 a game. he also hits the 3 better than of our current PGs right now.
I guess I'm just spitballing ideas, but I would love to see Arenas as a Blazer.
Doesn't look like we are doing much else to improve. Why not try this?

doesn't matter what guard it is.. we don't need any guards.
we need another big man.

well
it doesn’t seem like one wants to come here or we can’t get the right one.
so instead of just doing nothing, roll the dice on arenas?

there aren't any good ones available at this point, or the right trade hasn't come around.
I think we’ll get some good blood this summer that’s a big body.

Why
If you get “Good Gilbert” you are getting basically a somewhat better Jamal Crawford.
We could always use his shooting, but he was one of the absolutely worst defenders in the history of the NBA, and he won’t solve our ballhandling woes.
M, period. Fresh, comma.
"somewhat better JC?"
so a lot better than nolan.

I'd say no
Nolan at least has the mythical “potential” while Arenas is a known pile of crap.

nolans best full year
as a pro won’t be as good as arenas’ full worst year as a pro. I don’t understand the Arenas bash… his numbers last year off the bench are close to Feltons this year except less turnovers.

his numbers don't tell the whole story

I didn't read anything but the title

I've been thinking the same
I absolutely can’t stand Arenis, but If he has any of his past ability it would be an improvement to our bench.
The bear is Baron Davis.
I still think the Knicks should cut Jeremy Lin and sign Gilbert Arenas, for it’d be flat-out hilarious to see a backcourt of Arenas and Davis at some point this season.
"I Am Mine"
Gilbert is the guy who installed a shark pond in his backyard....
Maybe he can move into Z-Bo’s compound.
i wonder if he can regain his allstar form from 2007? or will he be the same gilbert from 2008 to the present that struggles physically due to reoccuring catastrophic knee injuries?
actually i don’t wonder that. i’m pretty much in the same camp as everyone else in the universe. gilbert is done.
