DeMarcus Cousins: Meanest in Manscaping.
We had some nice chuckles about this last night. Never noticed before but it seems like he's been into it for a while.

this guy drives me nuts
There are few players in the NBA that I absolutely despise… Cousins is one of them. Let me list the reasons why:
1) He complains ALL THE TIME. Just play the game.
2) He never passes the ball. I love how Mike Rice always predicts a shot whenever he gets the ball.
3) He seems to only play the game to get personal stats. For example, he will refuse to play defense if he has two fouls in the second quarter just so he can stay in the game.
4) Scowls at teammates.
5) His jump shots frequently miss the rim.
He is a joke. I hope he never wears a Portland jersey.

actually, he is quite good.
15 points & 10 rebounds a game, with a PER over 20.
Plus, some hilarious whining from time to time.

Pretty inaccurate to say he never passes
His AST% as a rookie big was incredibly good and he had a number of 5+ assist games. Other than that your points are all subjective so however you feel is your business. I’d just state that I’d love DMC in a Blazers jersey cos he’s an immense talent at a position where we have a serious need for talent.

the portland effect
do you think if became a blazer, he’d end up rolling like this guy below? that’s the real question.

Cant disagree but I still like him
he has three times the passion than a young Eddy Curry. He might play for numbers but he plays hard and usally well for those numbers. Also im not too critical about shot selection yet. He might start stroking those clangers.

1. He has gotten MUCH better at his complaining. He doesn’t do that nearly as much as he did last year. If a call goes against him he starts to just walk back to the other side.
2. He passes the ball enough. He’s our best player by far, so he deserves the ball.
3. He still plays defense when he has 2 fouls, but tries to make sure he doesn’t get the third like any other player does. We can’t afford him to get into foul trouble early into games because he’s our only true center. Hickson, Thompson and Hayes are more PFs than anything else.
4. I don’t think I’ve ever seen him scowl at teammates. There was 1 incident last year, but everyone’s past that.
5. His jump shot percentages are really high actually. He has near David West jump shot numbers, so don’t know what you’re talking about there.

It goes in, that's all that matters.
He’s been shooting real well this season, which has surprised me.

6.
He has an attitude that is toxic in the locker room.

See that's the thing.
He doesn’t really have an attitude. That’s the national media claiming this and that about him. His teammates say he’s great. Yes, he does have to grow up some more but his “attitude” is not toxic. He’s really emotional on the court for sure, but that shouldn’t be mistaken for attitude.

thought I was hairy
that is pure fur. He should be able to walk around in public naked. PETA should do a commercial with him where he is killed for his coat.
