New point guard
Here it is i think Blazers need a young fast Point Guard. Brandon Jennings from the Bucks has always caught my eye. The Bucks wouldnt be likely to trade Jennings he has become a fan favorite for Milwaukee. But they might be willing if we throw in draft picks.
Blazers get Drew Gooden and Brandon Jennings.
Bucks get Felton, Babbitt and Armon Johnson also first round pick.
Reason for Felton i think should be traded is because he is inconsistent, to many turnovers, and cant hit threes like he could last year.

Brandon Jennings IS Nick Van Exel
Actually it’s almost creepy. Both lefties. Both shoot too much and not accurately enought. Both fiery and short and weigh less than me when I was 16. Both came into the league with a bad reputation. Van Exel came from Wisconsin and played in LA. Jennings comes from LA and plays in Wisconsin. Admittedly Jennings would have to be beaten repeatedly with the proverbial ugly stick before they looked the same, but the games give it away.
So… let Milwaukee have him.

No way this trade goes through
especially with Jennings jump in production this season. I mean he is hitting on 45% of his shots, on 16 attempts per game. Those are lead guard numbers, he is really impressing me so far. I didn’t think he had it in him, but clearly Scott Skiles showed why he is regarded as one of the best player development coaches in the NBA. If Larry Sanders gets it going at the 4 spot, the Bucks could be a scary team.
As for which Point guard we should pursue, I still love Kirk Hinrich. Provides good defense at both guard spots & consistency from the 3 point line. He is the ideal backup PG for me & no one in the NBA has more experience of grooming young guards in practice(See John Wall, Derrick Rose, Jeff Teague).
I wouldn't call him garbage
he has a great A/T Ratio (4.79/1). A career .381 3pt% (.35 this year) and he’s a pretty good rebounding point guard. The biggest whiner in the NBA,IMO there’s a lot more better picks then him.

Still an upgrade over Felton. Not defensively, but otherwise.
He’s really a poor man’s Nash, and I mean that as a compliment. We could use the 3’s and his ability to create at-rim shots (dude averages 4+ at rim assists with Bargs as his main option). I don’t like the cap hit, though.
Phase 1: Collect underpants
Phase 2: ???
Phase 3: Profit!
Numbers will suffer after a trade
just like Feltons have. Though Feltons will improve sooner as he has been in the system longer.
I would have welcomed him
before we completely ruined our relationship with spanish players & the softness that comes with them. He doesn’t fit the Gerald Wallace type attitude that I would want the Blazers to acquire.
I like Nolan Smith over Felton.
Felton’s contract comes off the books at the end of the year, giving you more money to resign Batum, Oden and then Wallace.
