Here's to a better second half!
But this was not so for Brandon Roy who listened to teammate Nicolas Batum, "You're an All-Star, a 3-time All-Star. Take the ball. They can't stop you. You just have to believe in yourself."

Is it a bad thing that I'm enjoying half time?
It feels like an hour long lunch break in a terrible 14 hour work day.
It's supposed to be one of the deepest drafts in years.
Many top players who might have declared last year didn’t because of the lockout.

im gonna give felton a little credit
Hes only 1-5 but at least hes only jacked up 5 shots…. but he does have 8 assists so far and 3 rebs… and he would already be into double digit assists if we shot decent the first half.
But he also has I think 4 turnovers
You are right though. He seems to post a solid stat line every game.
I know where I come from, and when you always have in mind where you come from the rest will be easy. I think the rest will be easy.
-- M. Rivera
i was trying to give credit :).. but u are right he has 4 TO's :(
and yeah its funny how much people bash him but hes averaging rougly 11-7-3 this year… which isn’t bad.
I thought thats why we brought in crawford?
except to be fair i do like crawford. He frustrates me sometimes, but I think hes a good guy, and someone we will need at the end of the year.
I think they both get, Felton just get's it more. Whatever ben started with the cupcake stuff, some people drag it on.
They think it’s funny or something, it’s really just overused and annoying at this point. He has a good stat line and he and Jamal will be great for this team when it counts.

The shots have mostly been good ones, as well.
Has to make them, but he’s taking the right ones. He’ll be fine.

which is why i have to believe he will get out of this funk
for his career he was an over 30% shooter from 3’s… it reminds me of when mathews came last year and started the year cold as ice, then flipped it.
Yeah, there's no way he can shoot this poorly all season.
It’s almost impossible for an NBA player. Right? Right?
He got off to a really hot start for the Knicks last year.

I was just about to write that.
We should get him, a legit combo guard with solid fundamentals and court vision. Seems like quite the student of the game.
The smarter you are, the more likely you are to be tripping balls at any given moment.
/keep Batum/ /trade for Bogut/
This guy is different than most combo guards we've had in the past few years.
He’s less about extreme athletic ability and much more about heady, smart play. Lumping him in the same group as Bayless etc. isn’t really an apt comparison.
Plus, he’s young cheap, and would be awesome off the bench/eventual replacement for Crawford, but would function better because he’s much more of a facilitator which would really help Batum’s game along with the rest of the 2nd unit.
The smarter you are, the more likely you are to be tripping balls at any given moment.

To be fair on this particular incident, I think even Nate realized he'd made a mistake
He quickly rushed LMA back in.
Well Aldrige has been playing a lot of minutes. He may want to conserve him a little bit for later in the game so he doesn’t get those heavy legs in the 4th.

Get well Greg! Rip City is still behind you!
Has Crawford been misused by Nate?
I thought I read an article where Craw said he’d prefer to work off the ball to get his rhythm going. Also he should only be shooting it when the execution of other plays fails, then he can go 1 on 1 for the last 6 seconds of the shot clock
Even if Crawford is better at SG
He’s better at PG than anyone else on the bench

Felton is racking up assists and it seems like he is kind of forcing things and looking to score. Maybe if he just looked to set people up more and not worry about his shot, the offense would run smoother and Felton could just let the offense come to him. He would probably end up scoring more.
You
Know if Felton can keep up with these assist rates and start hitting shots he actually is going to be good.
Crawford on the other hand is showing me nothing. And why does Nate insist on playing crawford with batum.

he can easily play the 2 gaurd.... he can gaurd any of those playesr and would create huge mis matches on the other end.
yeah some nights I think it would be good to have him in at SG to start depending on the oppossing 2 guard/pg
plus with our down Center having wallace at the 4 can work with batum at the 3
nothing against Wallace....

Starting
To really think its not easy being a pg under Nate. We might need another miller Nate blow up for Felton to feel comfortable. It seems like every pg we’ve had plays scared under Nate. Miller had problems as well until he fought back and told Nate how it’s going to be. It worked until Nate forced him out. Not sure Felton will be able to figure out a way to play for this guy. Either way it’s going to take some time.
