i dont care about homerism, I like it actually. Not like they are that independent after all, like TNT or something. Mike and MIke are great in this respect.

But Adam Bijaaararashooohnjnnn keepps flubbing his lines over and over, game after game. Maybe too much on his plate with KGW+this.

I hate it when annoucers say the oppenent can't maintain this high shooting percentage all game...

Uhhh..yeah they can if we play crappy perimeter defense…. ask the Magic….opponents shooting a high percnetage against us has been a long term trend dating back to last year. Its getting tiresome.

Crawford should never ever be the PG

Ever. The Blazers should have drafted a PG who IS a PG.

Strictly a 2. Thats my beef. I accept Crawford for who he is. But when he’s at the point its inviting bad things to happen

But this was not so for Brandon Roy who listened to teammate Nicolas Batum, "You're an All-Star, a 3-time All-Star. Take the ball. They can't stop you. You just have to believe in yourself."

Last year, they desperately needed a backup PG.

This year, they need a starting PG. Not digging Andre and change for Felton. At all.

by Free Bayless on Jan 13, 2012 7:36 PM PST via mobile reply actions

We don't have an offensive identity.

Sure, we kind of have a defensive plan: force turnovers try to rebound. But our offense is throw the ball to LaMarcus, let him pass to a bad three point shooter and watch him brick that shot.

time to face the facts..

this team is just not all that good…. Felton has shot terrible 85% of the time he’s been on the floor, as has crawford… no depth at PG or C…. = this

Blazers early season success starting to look like fools gold.

Much like last year…we have long stretches of horrid offsense and don’t know how to get out of it without just “hoping” someone gets hot. We suck at drawing fouls..getting to the line…. figuing out how to get easy buckets when the outside shots aren’t falling.

Crap Offense...Again

Leave it to the Blazers, again to not score against one of the leagues worst defenses because McMillan does not know good offense.

Nate needs to play the stinking rookies so they can improve….how come every other team plays rookies but McMillan doesnt? Im telling you Nolen Smith will be much better than Felton if actually allowed to get some playing time. He is a better shooter, quicker, longer and was an excellent defender in college.

I have always hated how no rookies get playing time. We especially need it given all the back-to-backs the Blazers will be playing.

by stats al ghul on Jan 13, 2012 7:40 PM PST reply actions

seriously, how come San Antonio does such a better job of drafting than us in recent years?

and trading for Leonard ? Hes a rookies who’s producing and getting minutes from Pops!

Popovich has job security is my guess.

He’s got a proven record in the post season. Nate’s got squat. He’s too terrified to take a risk or a flier on a rookie.

I closed my fuzzy, jerky, illegal feed. Enough’s enough. Don’t want to sound like a sore loser but we didn’t get any calls. The offensive beauty stopped as soon as Jamal came in for the first time and started chucking. yeech, ptooey.

Felton is Terrible

… i want to believe he’s better than he’s shown…. but idk…. he might have been a huge mistake…. so far this year….. Wildly Inconsistent Defense… HORRIBLE shooting and average passing…. i’m beginning to wonder if he is in fact starting material!?

by theedge634 on Jan 13, 2012 7:47 PM PST reply actions

The only thing he's shown is that he's quick.

As a floor general he’s rather mediocre, perhaps even less so. However people say he had a great year in NY. Who knows, maybe that version will come.

by Stryder9 on Jan 13, 2012 7:49 PM PST up reply actions

His NY experience was an aberration

Just look at the stats since he entered the NBA. He’s got a career 14.4 PER. Thats borderline starting PG on an average team

in a way i wonder if starting batum with felton, and bringing wes off the bench

might help batum get more untracked

mathews would probably be fine either way

by utahcoyote on Jan 13, 2012 7:49 PM PST reply actions

matthews seems pretty set on starting. last year, it was a big deal for him and he did a lot better off the bench. batum wants minutes, not necessarily a starting spot. batum produced off the bench last year.

by permaswoon on Jan 13, 2012 7:50 PM PST up reply actions

i mean matthews was better as a starter than off the bench

by permaswoon on Jan 13, 2012 7:50 PM PST up reply actions

i was thinking the same thing

i fell like wes could be better of the bench than batum whether he deserves the spot more or not
