The 'Sheed contemplating a return to the NBA
Former Jail Blazer Rasheed Wallace, who surprisingly doesn't lead the NBA in all time technical fouls, is reportedly "serious" about returning to professional basketball after 18 months of retirement.

All time favorite Rasheed Wallace moment?
Ejected for staring at a ref.

Love that the ref was mic'd for that one
Wish they’d still do that.
probably the reason they don't
"I told somebody to stop crying," Pendergraph said after the game. "Actually, I told them all to stop crying."
Ha! You beat me to it.
I’d be thrilled to have ’Sheed back.

He is, but he was also right on about Donaghy who wasnt betting alone.
Coincidence ? maybe, maybe not ?
Sheed would do nothing but help this Blazer teams lack of depth at the 4/5. He is not the long term answer, but neither are Camby/KT or the football player currently on the roster.
Problem is, Portland still has the jock sniffing media Sheed hated so much like the Oregonian. He doesnt want to come here, where he was never appreciated. Years of being a solid player, over shadowed by small things made into major issues. It wasnt his hummer, he has a right to family time, and we all get frustrated at work.
<3 Sheed, always will. He kept it too real for Portland fans to handle. We have the younger version from the shoulders down now, and need to look for younger players.
just win baby !

I like him too.
It still bothers me that he didn’t retire a Blazer.

I'd love to see him. The Rose Garden would go nuts.
too bad it won’t happen. at best a really, really long shot.
Actually.. we could use him, no joke. an upgrade over CJ
"Tommy: Did you hear I finally graduated?
Richard Hayden: Yeah, and just a shade under a decade too. All right. "

YES.
bring him back to portland and then get Ben Wallace here. Put all three Wallaces together in one massive frontcourt :-)
If they were all in their primes together, just imagine that kind of power… and the humor! Wallace passes to Wallace. Wallace attacking the rim, wait, no he passes it to Wallace in the corner! And its… no good, but theres Wallace for the rebound and the putback dunk. Oh man, is Wallace having a game!
I’ve been thinking about that joke for years, and wanted the Pistons to get Gerald to put the all Wallace front line together… We can do it in Portland! :-p
bet Kahn will sign him to a full MLE.

Fond memories of Sheed
Yeah I know, he proabably doesn’t give a damn about the fans or the city or the franchise but Rasheed was THE Blazer during my formulative days as a Blazer fan.
I was really mad about the ugly situation that developed before the trade came but now that time has passed I appreciate that I got to watch a talent (and character) like Sheed.

I doubt the dude is strapped for ca$h
And besides, he probably has a medical marijuana card so he’s not paying much for his weed.
This is my signature. Do you like it?
We need Sheed! Bring him back!
I would be buying considerably more tickets to Blazer games. Bring him back!
