Bad for Atlanta....
Good for my fantasy team. More touches for Joe Johnson. Man, isn’t Marvin WIlliams out too?

Sucks for my team
Since Horford was one of my best big men…

That sucks for him and the hawks....
But the blazers catch a break on the road with him side lined.

Dangit! Now there's no way we land Josh Smith...
Phase 1: Collect underpants
Phase 2: ???
Phase 3: Profit!
If I was Atlanta I would try to get real bad in a hurry.
Cross your fingers that you can land a legit center like Andre Drummond so you can move Horford back to the 4 and trade Josh Smith for a SG prospect or more draft picks.

That's not a bad idea, but I don't think the team could financially survive
if they were really terrible and didn’t have a playoff run. Those TV $$$ from the East playoffs have got to be pretty good.

lol...good or bad, their crowd attendance still sucks

Saw that happen yesterday.
It’s too bad, Horford is basically the only guy I like on ATL. I wish him a speedy recovery.
I wonder what this means for the east playoff race, outside of the top 8 teams (talent wise), Chi, Mia, Ind, Atl, Orl, Bos, Nyk, and Phi (not particularly in that order) there seems to be a serious gulf of quality, so if Atlanta goes on a massive dive in terms of performance, which bottom feeding team of the east sneaks into the playoffs with a losing record? Milwaukee? Cleveland? maybe even Toronto?
The smarter you are, the more likely you are to be tripping balls at any given moment.

I'd put odds on Milwaukee, but it depends on how Irving is doing, probably.
But yes, in the first round of the East playoffs, the #1 seed will basically get a bye.
cleveland is actually pretty good,
but I don’t know if losing horford takes them out of the playoffs. the east is pretty horrible, and atlanta without horford can probably still do better than the knicks or celtics at this point
The injury gods have strange senses of humor
Kwame Brown has the same injury. Two centers with two torn pectoral muscles in two days?
arrrggg!
I just posted that as a fan shot. Funny, I was thinking about how some of us argued for making a run at Kwame as a backup center, but he bit the injury bug too.

the only thing I wanted PDX to get more than Oden in that draft
was Noah and Horford.
the truth hurts. fox news is painless
