Three streaks ahead: Blazers a month from now

I have two things to say:

a) Don't fret if the Blazers have a 4-game losing streak to go to 7-6
b) Because, I wouldn't be surprised to see them run off with victories 12 out of the next 14 games

As I do each year, I try to predict each game, just to see what our playoff chances look like, and to give me some perspective when we hit a rough patch. (It also helps me pick my 1/8 season ticket games)..We could be at 19-8 about a month from now. I pick this stretch of the season because it could bring two really good wiunning streaks. After that it gets more .500-ish.

See the game by game breakdown of the games ahead, and weigh in on the poll, after the jump..

I predict a 10-6 run

We’ll beat some teams we shouldn’t, and lose to some that don’t deserve it.

3 games in 3 nights

I don’t think we can win all three of those. That will be a really tough stretch for a team that doesn’t seem to play well on back to backs this year.

I though the Phoenix game would be one of the worst games this season.

I was wrong. The last game against Orlando was pathetic fr 3+ quarters. Worst basketball I’ve seen since the Randolph days. When they play back-to-back-to-back, there will definitely be at least one loss during that stretch.

At GS

On third night of 3 in a row? I think we lose by 10 or more.

Yeah we suck in Oakland.

Which sucks, because it’s usually the only time I see the Blazers in person, and they always play like crap. Thank god for league pass.

The smarter you are, the more likely you are to be tripping balls at any given moment.

Re: three-peats....

I’m hoping Nate expands the use of his bench on the early part of this road trip, so that when we hit that stretch, we can rest enough regulars in the middle game, that we don’t have a huge dropoff.

If we beat SA...

then Houston will fall as well. NO and ATL will be the tough spots then Toronto and Detroit should fall. That’s 4-2 for a six game road trip. That’s what I’m hoping. If we lose to SA then 3-3 is more likely. Anything less than that is dissappointing.

I'm guessing about 10-6

6 game road trip, we’ll go 50-50. We’re playing mostly week teams but 6 games on the road will make it tough.

2-3 on the back to back to back . 3 weak teams now that Memphis has lost Z-Bo.

Easy revenge against phoenix
Tough win against Utah

Then a let down as we get a little tired for the next stretch with losses against denver, oklahoma city and one patsy.

@Houston, @Atlanta, @Oracle

Probably a couple random ones in there, to boot.

Phase 1: Collect underpants
Phase 2: ???
Phase 3: Profit!
