Gameday Open Thread: Magic vs. Blazers (First Half)
Don't look now, but it's another game. Tonight, a rested Orlando Magic play the Portland Trail Blazers (Tip off 7:10pm). Believe it or not, the Magic have been hanging around town since their last game Sunday. On the third game in four nights, can the Blazers keep up with Orlando?
Injury report: All's quiet.

Camby played a lot of minutes last night,
but we’ll need as much kryptonite out of him as we can get tonight.

apparently no one wants to guard the 3 pt line
it’s like they didnt even look at the scouting report BECAUSE THATS ALL THE MAGIC DO
Apparently this is one of those games where the Blazers a content to be steamrolled...
…and don;t bother playing any defense
You people need to relax
It’s just one bad quarter. They’re not shooting terribly, just need to pick up the D. And I doubt the Magic can sustain this FG%.

This is pathetic.

Felton is terrible on defense
He has strength but doesnt fight through the picks. He’s slow laterally so he has to use his strength better to muscle the defender, Sadly, he does neither.
Henne is the greatest and the Dolphins will go 14-2 this year and win the SB
It kinda looks like nobody cares tonight
No rebounders, no effort on D, lazy shot selection, etc.
im turning this off
tired of being tired used an excuse too, this is a horrible job following a gameplan. You can’t be uptempo either when you are taking the ball out of the basket every time down the court
The tempo isn't even there tonight.
Face it, the team can’t win if fatigued. This is going to be a problem all season.
We need to push the pace.
But everybody is so lazy that it’s just not happening. We need a sweet rebound from Wallace with a great outlet pass to a streaking Batum for an easy dunk, get the crowd energized and our team back in it mentally.
The smarter you are, the more likely you are to be tripping balls at any given moment.
Bring Back Dre.
44-24 with 9:01 to go
I didnt realize it was that bad.
Henne is the greatest and the Dolphins will go 14-2 this year and win the SB
Felton would make up for a lot of his laziness on defense if he could just make an open 3 pointer. I thought he was a shooter.
Whaaa?
He’s never been a good outside shooter. Just look at his career stats. He’s can make in the lane and can get hot occassionally, but has never ever been consistent in any sort of way
Henne is the greatest and the Dolphins will go 14-2 this year and win the SB

Howard has more upper body strength (beach ball sized shoulders) and is 1" shorter. Weight pretty much the same.

I've watched every game so far this season
Even sat through the Phoenix game for whatever reason…but this is getting really difficult to watch. You make a great play then you give up more 3’s. Nice.
I do think it's better if Howard gets his points. First of all, we know Howard can't close games. Secondly
his teammates will pass him up in the 4th and start chucking. So better start focusing on the 3 point shooters.
Orlando is not a good team. They just shoot 3’s all game long and if they aren’t hitting they lose. This is why they never win in the playoffs.
