Did you miss the first half? Lucky.
The Clippers lead the Blazers by 8 at the half. Hang out here and let's see if the Blazers can turn it around. -- Tim

he needs to be more patient and stop trying to push tempo when the defense is set
other than that he’s ok

i think it's nate
i heard him screaming at jamal to pass the ball to nic when he was covered by 3 guys.
nate just wants to run and take quick shots it seems. doesn’t really care about the efficiency. it’s stupid.
PHILLY!
i don't really think getting into a fastbreak battle against chris paul, blake griffin and deandre jordan is the best plan
but then again, maybe that’s why i’m not an NBA coach

Just got here
Hey! We’re only down by 8!!
Blazers basketball? Just basketball you say? More like a way of life
One quarter without them turning it over
And we’re down 30
It takes a big man to admit when he's wrong. I am NOT a big man.
Hopefully we outscore them by 9 in the 2nd half!

without my kids bothering me tonight (at grandmas) and its a sleeper so far. Second half better change.

Nate should tell Felton that he doesn't need to dribble into traffic any chance he gets. He can actually run a play and get someone a quality shot.
Too many risky plays that didn’t end with points for Portland. I prefer the boring old Aldridge post up.

Well our offense consists of...
1. Pass it around the perimeter until we turn it over
2. Dump it into the post while 4 guys stand around
3. Go one on one and throw up a brick
4. Turn over before half court
How about some off the ball movement and cuts to the basket?
What happened to the stream?
I was watching the game, and then it switched off and said ‘subscription not available’, and now i can get it to play again. Anyone else having this problem?

Even so, he doesn't look like he's really fighting for deep position.
Or forcing the issue rather. Who knows, maybe he’ll get some calls.

Came up with a formula years ago
If the lead is more than 2 1/2 times the minutes remaining, turn it off. Doesn’t work at the end of the game, or when BRoy goes nuts against Dallas, but most of the time it’s solid.
Steve Goodman lives.
Someone point out a single play we run in the half court besides
“Someone get the ball and go one on one”.
That's not true.
"Someone get the ball and go one on one" has always been his strong suit in Portland.
That being said, I think Nate’s annoyed too. I’m not sure where the breakdown is.

Of course they will
Because the streakiness with their shot still exists. We changed Felton for Dre which didnt improve the shooting overall, and brought in the extremely streaky Crawford for Fernandez. An upgrade for ure, but Jamal is extremely streaky with his shot and plays worse defense than rudy and is a worse passer.
We didnt really improve.

I think we are seeing why having a true backup PG is key
Crawford is good for spot duty but extended time exposes his poor ball handling
No he doesn't..his dribbling style leaves it exposed for steals
It’s happened quite a few times already this year
Let's go get Nasty Nash!
Steve. You complete us.
They look REALLY frustrated on the court.
At the refs, at themselves, at the fact even tip-ins aren’t going in.
Well if they get stomped and are mad about it
That’s okay. There are a lot of games left.

Somethin is not right in his mind right now. I can't excuse an easy one like that.
Actually he’s had several tonight.
You have to give some credit to the Clippers front court with Jordan and Griffin. :(
It’s what the Blazers have to beat in a series to make it out of the first round of the playoffs. Some nights shots dont fall. New pg = some turnovers . But I’m not sure I understand the new empahsis on offensive fouls this season.
OKC doesn’t get an easier. Nico played just fine, so take a few steps back off him and Nate. There are still 62 games to play.

no BROY to save us from pathetic offense this time :(
sorry to be "That Guy" lol :)

Aldridge doesn't have the energy to fight for boards. He's making lazy attempts to tip the ball in. Last year
he would have boarded those and dunked it.

we just don’t have anyone- including LMA who is way too inconsistent- who can hit those shots like Paul can or play with as much intensity as Blake Griffin does.

This team is pretty good.
They played probably one of the worst games we will see this season, and they didn’t stay down against a pretty good and intimidating team.
I don't think the clippers are that good.
I think the nba wants them to be, but I am not sold.

Well, this game could have ended much much worse.
gotta love the heart to get back in it.
They didn't benefit on that out of bounds play. They ran off a few more seconds but doubt that would have changed the outcome.
The Clippers are still a bad team without Chris Paul.
we're not gonna win many games,
8 on 5. Say what you want about effort but that was a terribly officiated game. Seems like david stern likes his little clips a bit too much.
"(creative University of Oregon fan quote!)"
and we scored 36 in the 4th
you cant win games when you dont get calls. take another look at that time out call, or the last shot by crawford. both are travesties of officiating.
"(creative University of Oregon fan quote!)"
I'm a bit amazed at...
how bad the Clippers are. Portland chokes themselves for 3 qtrs, not breaking 20 in any of those and still has a chance to win? I wouldn’t be feeling good about this victory in LA.
