Arcade Fire Organizing Charity Basketball Game Featuring [!] Matt Bonner

Arcade Fire frontman Win Butler has announced plans for a special charity basketball match in his hometown. The singer is staging the 'POP vs. Jocks' event, featuring NBA stars including San Antonio Spurs' Matt Bonner and musicians such as Vampire Weekend drummer Chris Tomson, at Montreal's McGill University Sports Centre on September 24. The event, which is part of the POP Montreal International Music Festival, will also see Butler take part in the match along with his brother and bandmember Will Butler. Via RealGM and NME.com
