Nate's slow tempo style has been focused on Roy and the potential of a healthy Oden. Since both of those options aren't a solid crutch to lean on, I wonder if he runs a different style next season.
Last year, Oden and Roy were supposed to be demonstrating their goods. When bad things happened, Nate had to play L.A. for all those minutes. He couldn't let the fast break style use up all of L.A.'s gas. It's possible that Nate thought the current coaching style would be the best way to prevent further injuries to a voodoo stricken roster. Regardless, I get it and don't think he is a bad coach. However, I do think he's going to change it up.
Nate has been an assistant coach for the U.S.and has successfully coached a small lineup. We have Felton, Matthews, Batum, Wallace, and L.A. who can run the floor. We have the stereotypical type of talent of a running team.
Will it happen? Should it happen? Could it happen, (to win us more a championship)?
