Via the Miami Hearald: "The supporting cast to the Big Three is set to change whenever a new season gets underway. The Miami Herald reports that General Manager Pat Riley is planning to go after Shane Battier, Grant Hill, and Tayshaun Prince once the lockout is finally lifted. If those three don't work out, the Herald notes, the team will then turn its attention to Michael Redd and Tracy McGrady." We don't really need any of these guys since we're pretty deep at SF/SG (though I'd take Battier in a second), maybe we should do as the Heat do and find some quality role players to surround our core group, rather than taking chances with young players who have yet to prove themselves in the NBA, such as Mills, Dante, Rudy, Armon, Nolan Smith, etc. Who could come in as a veteran and make a huge difference on this team?
